A Parrot Looks At El Nino

Mother, Mother Nature
Take a freakin' break.
Your rains are horrendous,
Your tornadoes are endless,
I don't know how much more we can take
As we ride in your wake, ride in your wake.

Today you nailed ol' Nashville.
Last week Atlanta, Birmingham.
California is slidin',
The Pacific is hidin'
El Nino in her belly again.
And she ain't no friend, she ain't no friend.

And I have seen tragedies like never before.
And I don't think we're ever gonna settle the score.
With the way things are goin',
It's not even showin'
Any signs of headin' out the back door.
I guess we'll see more. Guess we'll see more.

Mother, Mother Nature
After all your crap I've found
You knock us down and you push us around but
We bounce right back to clean up our towns.
You can't keep us down, and we won't wear frowns.
You can't keep us down, gotta clean up my town.
