This is only part of a game!

Formerly bred for use as a carriage horse and army remount, the Holstein was upgraded into a better-quality animal through the introduction of a certain amount of Thoroughbred blood. Showjumping is a sport at which the Holstein, with its intelligent and bold character, has excelled for many years. The breed is also noted for its powerful action, which is used to good effect in the demanding discipline of dressage. Originally prized as tough, active carriage horses, Holsteins can still be seen in harness in the competitive discipline of four-in-hand driving. One of the most celebrated Holstein horses of all time and an outstanding ambassador for the Holstein breed was the big bay gelding Meteor, the only show jumper to have won a medal at three Olympic Games.
