The Dutch Warmblood is a quality horse with a good temperment. The correct proportions of its conformation result in excellent action, thus ensuring its suitability for modern competitive sports. Despite is relative newnewss, the Dutch Warmblood has already demonstrated the correctness of the Dutch breeders' approach by achieving success at top international level in dressage, show jumping, and carriage driving. Dutch Warmbloods have also been used in the establishment of other warmblood strains. One of the world's most successful show jumpers is the Dutch Warmblood stallion, Milton, grandson of the Trakehner Marco Polo.
