A piece of ceramics found in Grabceva cave

A fragment of ceramical vase, found on island Hvar in 1938. is probably oldest visual art specimen of vessel found in Europe.

Hypopothesis is, that this piece of ceramics originate from 2500 before Christ. We still canīt find out did inhabitants of croatian islands hug the coast with boats like this, or did they built them.

But, we can be sure that in the New Stone Age navigation on east coast of Adriatic sea was established.
