The purpose of me having this workshop is to introduce too the new young about the traditional costume of Japan. Mostly people will only know the word kimono and then categorized everything into it. It is neither wrong or right, it is just that Japanese have their own definition for different kind of kimono for different occasion. Literally kimono means clothing but is has now being well known specifically for the traditional costume worn by Japanese women, men and children.
