Here is some more info from acclaim.net
From Acclaims Website:
From its origins in dingy, smoke-filled arenas up and down the eastern seaboard to the
multi-billion dollar corporations of today, incredible athleticism and the highest quality
entertainment have characterized professional wrestling. The World Wrestling
Federation(TM) has been the epitome of that commitment over the years and Acclaim
has strived to bring that excitement home to fans across the nation.
Dating back to the NES system of yesteryear, Acclaim has been working with the WWF
to translate the beauty and raw power of sports entertainment to video games. WWF
games like Wrestlemania(TM), Royal Rumble(TM), In Your House(TM), and most
recently, War Zone(TM), consistently captured the essence of this phenomenally
popular sport and were best sellers for Acclaim.
Acclaim Studios' Iguana West, dating back to the late 80's, has been the development
house for these wrestling games. With the knowledge of longtime industry veterans
they have continually crafted games of superior quality both in terms of gameplay and
graphics. They attribute their achievements to years of hard work and to a love of
professional wrestling. "Ultimately, it's because we love the WWF," said Roger Booth,
head of Iguana West. "But we have had years to think about and refine our work on
these games. As with most things, practice makes perfect. So, with that said, wait 'til
you see WWF Attitude."
WWF Attitude(TM) is the next installment in the long line of Acclaim WWF games.
Coming off of the extraordinary success of WWF War Zone(TM) and with pro wrestling
as popular as ever, WWF Attitude(TM) is poised to surpass the 2.5 million unit selling
accomplishment of its predecessor. In order to ensure continued success, Iguana West
and Acclaim have cooked up a mouth-watering concoction of breathtaking originality
and innovation. Here's a little taste.
WWF Attitude(TM) features over 40 superstars including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve
Austin, The Undertaker, and D-Generation X featuring Triple-H. WWF Attitude(TM) will
also feature new specialty matches including the LumberJack, King of the Ring, and
Survivor Series and all-new Match options including First Blood, I Quit, 2 out of 3 falls,
Iron Man, Tornado, Last Man Standing, Weapons, and more. Other features include new
arena environments, new superstar entrances with individual pyrotechnics and music,
all-new Create-A-Wrestler options, action in the aisle, photo-realistic wrestlers with
real-life faces and 3-D environments, and over 400 moves for each superstar including
trademark finishing moves!
One of the most creative and original features in WWF Attitude is the first ever
Create-A-Pay-Per-View Mode. This new gameplay mode allows gamers to select
Match-ups, Title vs. Non-Title Bouts, Specialty Matches, and authentic WWF special
events. Essentially, gamers will be able to create from scratch an actual WWF Pay Per
View event, from choosing the participants and the type of matches, down to the name
of the event and the arena where it all takes place. This unprecedented level of control
is a first in videogames and ensures that Acclaim will continue to innovate and lead with
the WWF franchise.
Additionally, Acclaim took every pain to make sure that superstar likenesses and motion
were as close as possible to their real life counter parts. "We had a photographer take
photos of each superstar to insure that our models looked even better than they did
last year," said Mike Archer, the most electrifying Senior Producer in Product
Development. To that end, the WWF supplied Acclaim with the Hardy Boys to perform
all of the motion for the game. After a grueling 5 day shoot the Hardy's were able to
rattle off over 400 moves. "We were looking for 2 guys who could really move around
and were able to do every one's signature move, like the Rock's Corporate Elbow. It
was actually Triple-H who suggested that the Hardy's would be perfect and he wasn't
lying - they were able to do it all!" reports Archer.
So there you have it. It looks like WWF Attitude is shaping up as the best WWF
wrestling game Acclaim has ever made. And that means, simply, that it is shaping up to
be the best, period. WWF Attitude...Get it!

New Create a Wrestler Options
"This information was provided by GAMEPRO"
In the WWF Attitude you will be able to do some new editing to
your made up wrestlers. You will be able to edit the wrestler move sets, write
text on the front and the back of their wrestlers' t-shirt, adjust facial features (eyes, nose, mouth, and face paint),
and raise or lower the pitch of the wrestlers' voice. Fans will even be able to customize their wrestlers' ring entrance, including
camera angles, poses, and special effects taken directly from the WWF stars: For example your wrestler could have Kane's red-lighting
effects, Val Venis's music, and DX's fireworks!
Wrestlers
There will be over 70 wrestlers in this game but they all will not be
real. 30 of them are known and the list is below. 10 more real wrestlers will be hidden. The other 30+ will be "FAKE" wrestlers.
Career Mode
The career mode will be more like a season in a sport game now. You'll start Career mode be selecting a wrestler and proceeding to make a name for yourself by fighing in house shows.
As you win matches, you'll move up the ranking toward the European title. The more matches, you win the higher your ranking. Also, as you become more popular, you'll wrestle on TV
shos such as Shotgun Saturday night, Sunday Night Heat, Monday Night Raw, and on various pay-per-view cards. After winning the European belt, you'll be ranked #15 for the Intercontinental title. If you
win the IC belt, you'll be ranked #8 for the Heavyweight championshiip and that's where the fun really begins! The current champ will get mad and start to interfere with your matches.
WWF Attitude Career mode should be awesome! Not only will you fight in all of the authentic arenas, but you'll also actually follow a full WWF season. If you're playing the game and it's January, you'll
compete in the Royal Rumble. If it's March, You will fight in Wrestlemania. And up to four players will be able to compete in the same season!
Other game modes and options planned include an eight-player King of the Ring tournament, Training, Survior Series, Lumberjack, Three-way Dance, Steel Cage (you can climb out of the cage anytime in Attitude),
Nuclear War, Two-out-of-Three Falls, Submission, Falls Count Anywhere, Weapons (including Mr. McMachon's bed pan!), and brutal Texas Deathmatches.
