In a competition based on alliances, scouting is key for optimal offensive and defensive strategies, allowing teams to determine the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents and allies hours before a particular match will begin. By assessing the capablities of another robot and how well their robot functions, the team can better determine a strategy to work with or against that robot.

In anticipation of the upcoming competitions, our team has been developing a Scouting Contact database, containing the contact information of many teams in and around the San Francisco Bay Area and a few teams from out of state. A copy of this database may be downloaded here in Microsoft Word format (*.doc).
