Anatomy: Frog Classifications Frogs are divided into different groups based upon their physical characteristics. One of the largest of these groups are the True Frogs. It contains well known frogs such as the green frog and North American bullfrog. Another well known group are the Tree Frogs. They have special expanded disks at the tips of their toes allowing them to climb trees and leaves. They can even "fly" out of tree tops to the ground using their webbed feet as parachutes. Next
