Behavior: Finding Food
Frogs will eat practically anything. They will eat insects, spiders, fish, worms, centipedes, other frogs or tadpoles, and even mice and small snakes. Many use their camouflage to hide themselves until some unsuspecting prey comes wandering by. When it comes close enough, they will pounce on it. Many frogs use their tongues to catch food, especially if they are a flying insects. Their long, sticky tongue shoots out of their mouth. If they aim right, the prey will stick to their tongue and the frog makes a meal out of them. A few frogs dig in the ground with their fingers or actively hunt in the trees to find food.
Frogs cannot chew, since they don't have teeth. Because of this, their eyes sink into their sockets to help push the food down their throat. This gives the frog the impression that blink when they swallow.
