The Great Hall of the base is the largest room we've got. It has two large sliding doors that open up to the rear of the base. It has a high ceiling that can accomodate the small second story balcony that we call the bridge. The balcony is at the opposite side of the room as the large doors. It's just the right place for a band or DJ to set up and play. This makes the auditorium a perfect place to hold a dance or an indoors awards cerimony.It is also a good place to keep our small boats safe and protected. We store other large equipment there too. It's a perfect place to prep the equipment prior to installing it in the ship.
This room is quite versatile in it's fuction, but it does require a certain amount of maintenance. We need to make improvements to this area of the building as well as other areas. We can always use some good volunteer help and some outright donations.
