NEWS:

April 12th: Three important newsbits. First, I'm putting the finishing touches on a massive game creation forum. I'll need lots of members, so tell your friends. Second, when I finish my next RPG, I'll be putting the SteelStar Programming page on its own dotcom! I haven't decided exactly what it'll be yet, so hang tight. Finally, I've stubled upon an interesting (and eventually profitable) online game (free of course) right here: Try it out when you need a larf. :)

March 11th: I probably won't be updating as much any more...I'm not sure what's become of 3DRAD, and I've kinda moved on from CnC (except for doing school presentations). I will still answer questions, and I do have a thing or two in the works in RPG Maker (no, not Venture Chapter 2...yet). But, some good news...I got accepted to college so I will be able to expand my programming opportunities. I've added one more link down below, and that's pretty much the extent of my updates for now.

Happy new year, etc.! In case you haven't go here to see a game I actually finished! Yes, incredible. Actually it's only the first third, but works as a standalone, so there. Also, I have started ANOTHER web site, which you can view here (and don't be deceived :). It's called "Zone 404" for obvious reasons, and I try to update every week. I plan on getting it as a dotcom address soon. Maybe. Oh yeah, and I broke the big 10,000 hits at some point and didn't realize it. Silly me.

December 5th: Finally! I'm back online! I've been working more with RPG Maker lately. Also, 3DRAD has updated to version 3.5, so check it out! I did manage to rescue all my .CCA files, so when I find some reliable web space I will upload them. I did find out that "Shooter Maker" is already a program (from the folks that brought us RPG and Fighter Makers), so I'll need to think up a new title (that is, if I ever start up on it again).

October 29th: I awaiting repairs (more like salvaging what's left) for my computer, so I really can't do anything (I hope there is still revoverable data on my computer). I may have lost everything (except what I did for Venture and my Diablo II saves on floppy disks :), but I might be able to get most of my CNC files back. If so, I can continue updating. Also, Woo-hoo! I reached the 10,000 mark and didn't even realize it! Finally, a couple more things: I haven't seen many (or any) updated out of 3DRad or Pie in the Sky GCS for a while, and am beginning to (gasp!) lose interest...hopefully that phase will subside. Anyway, happy Halloween!

September 4th: Well, this looks like it may be the beginning of the end. My computer is down for the count right now (it's an interesting story really...) so of course I can't do anything right now. I did find something odd while browsing the 'net today (on someone else's computer, from where I'm writing this). It's a top-ten downloads list for a games site online. Check this out: a (slightly modified) screen shot of the list. Not convinced? Go here and maybe the list hasn't changed yet. I'll fill y'all in on the status of my computer when I find out myself (I can still get email on my folks' computer though).

August 16th: All right! It's been 2 years (and 1 day) since CnC Place first came online! I sure hope I can break the 10K counter mark this month (or year for that matter). I have almost finished the first full chapter (of 3) of Venture, which I will put up as the new demo when I'm done. Unfortunately, 2 things have been standing in my way: school started back a week ago, and that calculus homework is brutal; oh yeah, and a certain unescapable force known as "Diablo II" has entered my computer and swallowed all my free time until I can work up the gaul to get some real work done! Well, I'll try to get something in soon enough...still looking for some good web space to put all my files on (I have received some notices the the Homestead server that has the Venture DEMO on it does not always work).

July 26th: Hope I don't sound like I'm selling out on my own web site, but I've discovered another Internet commerce site, so click here to get paid for answering questions at Infomarkets. Not only that, but you get entered into a drawing for $30,000 or a trip to China for signing up. Also, for referring others (like I hope I'm doing now), you win a Palm V PDA (after 30 referrals). So, just take a second to check this out! :) One more thing: for anyone who downloaded the "Venture" demo, it has bugs. Strange ones. Check the SSP site for some details. Also, work on it is going well, I've finished about a third of the full game (several hours worth already!).

July 11th: I finished a new game! Well, it's only a demo right now, and it wasn't made with a 'Klik' product, but it's still pretty good. It is an RPG, and can be found at the SteelStar Programming site. Also, I found a new "pay-to-surf" program that I highly recommend: FreeWebStuff. It works as an IE browser, and you get $.50 per hour, BUT -- There is NO limit to the number of hours of browsing! You can make up to $372 a month (with no referrals, of course)! In fact, you have to enter additional information for a disclaimer if you plan on making more than $600 per month! Cool! When you collect enough money, you can convert it to online currency and buy things in their shop (computers, software, etc.) Plus, you get $10 for signing up.

June 12th: I've put up a new screen saver for download that demostrates the palette/fill effects. I put it together in 5 minutes, and it's only 342K. Go here. When I get a chance, I'll add it to the SSP page as well.

NOTE TO GAMES FACTORY USERS: Clickteam has offered The Games Factory as re-vamped shareware, which now has nearly all the functionality of Click & Create! Also, CnC's new name under IMSI is "Multimedia Fusion Express," but I'll continue to call it CnC (force of habit).
