RAINBOW BRIDGE

We have gone to the Bridge so you must ring a bell, To all you know, we need help so you must tell. For everytime our Friends take the time and a bell rings, That's how we become angels, this is how we get our wings. When Christmas Eve comes and Santa's sleigh is full of toys, He stops at the Bridge to get this years Furbabies girls and boys. We come so you can wave one last time,"See you later my Friends" If you look up at us flying overhead, remember our life never ends. We are always warm, happy and have lots of Friends to play with, Rainbow Bridge is not a fairy tale or a myth. We look for our unknow Brother and Sisters while we wait, All of us look forward to all being together, no ones ever late. Don't be sad, don't cry, but keep us in your heart, Because you see we are never really apart. WRITTEN BY: Helen (santaclaus@multipro.com)

We will all meet at the Bridge one day my friend.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

COOKIE 1963-1968

This is my first Chihuahua that my Mom gave me when I was 8 years old. She was our family Chi. She was a light golden fawn smooth coat. Her grandfather was the International Champion La Oro Tocayo de Alino de Oro, winner of his Championship in the U.S. and 8 other countries in 1964. We all miss you.

SUGAR 1980-1991

Howlett's Ita Pride of Sonko (Sugar) This was my sweetheart, my shadow, my love for 11 years. She was a fawn and white smoothcoat. I bought her in Texas. You will always be my baby! Her Father was CH. Jahpah's Sprite and her mother was Kee Wee's Th'Trixter.

SHILOH 1992-1998

Wright's Lil Shiloh (Shiloh) Shiloh was my first male smooth coat Chihuahua. He was black and white with fawn markings. He was a lover and the sweetest little boy imaginable! You will never be forgotten. His father was Celebrity's Don Wilson and his mother was Ricard's Darla-Little Rascal.

GRACE 1994-2000

Linda's Grace Under Fire (Gracie) Gracie was so sweet and loving. She had the best traits of both her parents, Goldie and Shiloh. She was a smoothcoat black and white with fawn markings. She loved to lay in the sun. Mommy misses you. Her mother is Mar-Kays Lil Pot-O-Gold (Goldie) and her father was Wright's Lil Shiloh.

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People dis- appear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rain- bows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind- songs, they whisper to us, don't miss me too much. The view is nice and I'm doing just fine. - Ashley

This was sent for Grace from Helen (Santa)

CISCO 1/98 - 12/2000

TAYLOR'S CISCO KID Cisco was a tiny little guy. Just 3 1/2 pounds and with a very short smooth coat. He was a little hyper but was so sweet and really a Daddy's boy. You are very much missed by your humans, but I know you are looking down on us. We love you Cisco.

MISTY 1/19/1999 - 1/15/2001

TAYLOR'S PLAY MISTY FOR ME You were just shy of your 2nd birthday. Daddy always called you "nervous Pervis", but you know how much we love you little girl. I am so sorry for the tragedy that took you from us. My heart aches for you and for all your humans that knew you and loved you.

Mommy's friend sent this to her to help her in her time of grief. I want to share it with you all.

THE WEAVER My life is but a weaving Between my Lord and me, I cannot choose the colors He worketh steadily. Oftimes he weaveth sorrow, and I in foolish pride Forget He sees the upper And I, the underside. Not till the loom is silent And the shuttles cease to fly Shall God unroll the canvas And explain the reason why. The dark threads are as needful In the Weaver's skillful hand As the threads of gold and silver In the pattern He has planned. Corrie ten Boom
