In Castlevania you assume the role of Simon Belmont. He is a renowned vampire killer out to destroy Dracula. Dracula is set to rise ever hundred years. In Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, you have a curse that Dracula put on Simon before he died. So to end the curse Simon collects all of Dracula body parts and burn them. But then again he fights Dracula. Castlevania III actually is a prequel to the first two. You take the role of Trevor C. Belmont (forefather of Simon and the origin of the Belmont). Again you have the to stop Dracula who is try to take over the Earth and fill it with terror. In this game you meet three spirits, Alucard: the son of Dracula, Sypha: Mystic Warlord of Wallachia, and Grant: Ghost of a Sea Captain. Castlevania IV has Simon Belmont in it. It is basically the same story as the first Castlevania. You can consider it a remake. Dracula X has Dracula refuses to pass into an eternal slumber, rising yet again to strike back at the latest Bemont, Richter. Leaving a trail of Chaos and destruction in Richter's home town, a angry Dracula returns to his castle with Richter's girlfriend Anette and her sister Maria Renard So Richter goes off to stop Dracula. Castlevania Symphony of the Night lets you control Alucard, Dracula son. Something has awaken Alucard from his slumber and he knows that something is wrong. So he goes to the castle to invetigate. He finds Maria who is looking for Richter. But when he finds Richter he claims to be the Lord of the Castle. Eventually figures out that a priest name Shaft is controlling Richter. After this the horrible truth of the another castle appears. This is the real castle. At the end Shaft resurrect Dracula and Alucard must face his father.
