Divorce Affects Teens

The reason I'm making a page on divorce affecting teens is because I am a teen, and my parents are divorced. My parents divorced when I was 12 years old. All that I was thinking is what happens now. I wasn't quite sure what would happen. So I asked my mom. She said, "there will be many changes, we are going to have to move out of our house and my dad wasn't going to be with me full time. I was feeling many different emotions at one time. I was only happy for one reason and that was because they fought quite a bit and if they divorced then I thought there would be no more arguing. I was really wrong. After a couple of months after my dad moved out, we had to go find a cheaper house or apartment. We moved into a nice little apartment and everything seemed to be going great. I never really thought about how I was so hurt that I hardly ever saw my dad. Everything was going great until one day I knew I needed my dad in my life. So my brother and I decided to try living with my dad. It was very hard to move out of my mom's because we had to move apart from our sister. Even though my parents only live five minutes away I feel really bad, sad and angry because If I were to move I would have to go without my sister who is only 9 years old. It hurts me greatly to be away from my sister even though we get in our little fights here and there. I am now 15 years old and living with my brother and dad in an apartment.
