The following is a true statement of my life -- just randomly typed. You are reading this at your own risk.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but...
ARE TODAY'S YOUTH BEING JUST A LITTLE BIT SELFISH???
Or, shall I say, are today's youth thinking they can get away
with just a little bit too much?
Okay. I know crap like that (Littleton, Colorado) has happened like that before,
and I realize that it's been happening since the dawn of Mankind blah blah blah.
But give me a break here people!
#1. I wish bullies and the like would learn that when you dis a person, you'd better
expect that person to retaliate nowadays (little kids get shot for stealing milk money now).
#2. Who are you anyways to judge a person based upon their looks? Just 'cause you're Mr. Coolio
in the Denver Broncos or NY Rangers T does NOT mean you have the right to cut down a person
just 'cause they wear certain clothes. I find it a hell of lot more annoying
when I see brand names embellished all over the front, back, blah blah blah of a T than I do
a Goth/Punk/whatever dressed all in (as you say) white trash shit.
#3. If someone's bullying you, don't pull the trigger -- chances are it's not you who has a problem...it's probably them
to begin with, and pulling the trigger at someone who's giving you slack isn't going to get you anywheres ('cept in a jail
cell with a man that prefers the name Bubbles).
#4. So what if your parents treated you like shit? Do you really think that just 'cause
they abused you and whatever when you were young that all of a sudden they're going to give a shit
when you kill people? Nope, sorry son, it ain't workin' like that!
#5. And what if your parents treat you like the spoiled little crap-nosed brat you really are?
Do you think the sheriff is gonna treat you like a baby? No honey, you be sweepin' the floor
like your maid.
#6. To the parents: HELLO! IS ANYBODY THERE!!! If your child is be-gettin' somewhere with someone you don't know: INTERVENE! What?
Are you scared that they'll retaliate? Uhm, sorry, they'll do something bad either way. Tough love, 'rents. You were the ones that wanted
a kid -- NOW TAKE CARE OF IT!
#7. To the victims: don't channel your hate towards others. The worst
thing you can do right now is to point fingers at every song/movie/entertainer
that you possibly can. Some people are born evil...you can't change pure evil.
#8. To the media: give the victims some airspace! You're sticking cameras
in that poor kid's face for the zillionth time, making him relive it over and over again.
Stop and think a minute what you'd want if that were to happen to you.
People need time to heal by themselves.
#9. To the gun-owning population: DUH! Why the hell do you need a gun? To protect yourself
from that grizzly that's gonna bash through your door any day now? It's not the 1800s
anymore -- Billie The Kid's been long gone for a time now. Rifles are for shooting the
deer (not the dear).
#10. The best lessons in life are learned the hard way. Let this be a lesson
to all. Try to avoid confrontations, don't be judgemental or jealous, just be
just and respectful. If someone threatens you, do not take it lightly.
