Zelgadis Greywords

About Zel:
Zel is quiet and serious, a really straightforward guy. His main goal is to find a way to turn his body back to a normal human's. Rezo, the Red Priest, made him into a chimera of 1/3 demon, 1/3 golem, and 1/3 human. He hated Rezo for it and wanted revenge, and after Rezo died, all he really wants is to become human again.

What Zel looks like:
"Hair like wire and skin like stone" as Lina said, but Zel really does look pretty cool. His hair and skin are blue, as well as eyes, and he always wears this beige outfit of tunic, pants, cape, and cowl which he covers his head and face with in public. (He's very unhappy with his looks.)

How Zel gets along with the others:
Lina: I think that Zel respects Lina for her intelligence and power. She can beat up huge men three times her size and Zel knows this. He's not dumb enough to challenge her in a fight, but he's confident enough in his own power that he will do what he thinks must be done.
Gourry: Being pretty much the only two guys in the group from the start, having both been there when Lina defeated both Shabradingo and Zanafar, I think that they have a sort of special connection.
Amelia: Well, he kind of looks out for her in bad situations (kind of reminding me of a little sister) since she's around six or seven years younger than him. Example: when the big monster was about to attack them in the "slug basement", he jumped over her where it captured him first, giving her a better chance.
Xellos: This is the only guy I have seen who can make Zel totally loose it. They started off pretty bad when Zel was looking for something to help turn his body back to normal and Xellos took it and . . . basically didn't let Zel see it . . . Zel was REALLY ticked and tried to blast the guy with various spells.
