Why'd you make this page?
It was about 8 long months ago that I was flipping through the channels on my TV when I per-chanced to notice a show about ghosts at 1:16 in the morning. So I thought "Ok, I'll watch this." Then they did a story about this house in the woods some place and I saw the picture of this mirror on the show, and they zoomed in closer to the picture. Then I saw these ghostly faces looking back at me that I didn't notice at first, so it gave me goose bumps. I didn't really think much of that for the next 8 months or so, but the last 2 and a half weeks(10/?/00) I've been looking for the picture on the net everywhere without much luck, but I've gone through just about every ghost photo gallery there is and searched all these combinations of "ghostly faces in the mirror," "ghosts in the mirror," crap like that, and finally found out that the picture was taken at the Lee Residence in Black Forest, which is located in El Paso County, Colorado.
Even though I got lucky by guessing that's where the picture was from (because I couldn't remember where they said on the show) I still couldn't find the picture, but I started searching for "black forest haunting," "Black Forest Investigation," etc.
So I read all different kind of articles on the case and found other pictures, but not the specific one I was looking for, I emailed people who've actually investigated the house and they weren't much help. But to make this long story short, I found the picture eventually at this ParaNet site, which is a radio show that deals with paranormal and bizzare stuff. Then I thought, "What next?" Well since I put quite a bit of time into this I decided to add a section to my page, just for people, if there are any, like me that are having a tough time looking for info and pictures on this specific ghost case. And even if it's all bullcrap, like Weekly World News stuff, it's stll pretty interesting. I'm sick of all the old ghost stories about a woman waiting by the window for her lover to come to the hotel, but he never does and she dies, and people still hear a tapping on the window, blah blah, this story is cool because shit just happens. No little dumb legends to bore you with, just the meat.
