This sermon is given to strengthen our faith in God, that we, the Body of Jesus Christ, will rise up and proclaim the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Passage One: "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:" ( I Cor. 2:4 ) In this year, the gospel will be preached with power and demonstrations of signs, wonders, miracles, and healings of all kinds. God is going to raise up His people to do great exploits in order to turn the hearts of the sinners unto God. There shall be a mighty move of God's Spirit, leading to the salvation of souls. The world is going to witness the sovereign power of God, as He works through His church, confirming the word of God. Passage Two: "...Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." ( Zech. 4:6 ) When the gospel is preached in these last days, there will be such a miraculous move of God, such as total deliverance from sin, sickness, and diseases of all kinds, as God uses the Body of Christ to bring glory and honour to His name. God is calling His people to fasting and praying, travailing and interceding, for this nation and the world. As the people of God obey Him, they will be used by God to perform great acts of faith. These acts will lead to many sinners being saved, healed, and delivered. The church is called to do exploits that will reveal how much God loves His creation, and that He is very much involved in the affairs of His people, physically, spiritually, and financially. This year will be known as the church's hour, as the world witnesses the miracle working power of God. The people of God will be restored back to God and begin to walk in faith and in total victory. Passage Three: "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." ( Mark 16:20 ) Dear Child of God, this is the time of confirming the word of God. Those things that God has promised us in His word are surely about to come to pass. Passage Four: "... the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will." ( Dan 4:32 ) You can witness the sovereign power of God in your life, or in the lives of loved ones. God is sovereign, this means that in spite of our doubt and unbelief that God does what He pleases, in the kingdom of men. No matter what situation or circumstance we may face, be it financial, marital, physical, or mental, God still rules. He has authority and power over all human affairs. Dear Child of God, I firmly believe that these sermons have been given to me of the Lord, to build faith and to bring hope to the people of God that are in need of encouragement. Child of God, if you are in need of encouragement, these sermons are for you.
