In this brief sermon from the Bible, I want to discuss how to prove God now. My prayer is that this teaching will encourage you by building your faith and bring you to a new spiritual level in the Lord. Now is the time to believe God for those things that we have need of; IF NOT NOW WHEN? Passage One: "And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die." ( II Kings 7:3-4 ) As with the four lepers in the Bible, there should be a sense of urgency to have things resolved when we encounter situations and circumstances that we can not afford to have postponed. In such situations, only God has the solution. Why sit we here? We must trust God to do something now; IF NOT NOW WHEN? Passage Two: "And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicans, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse." ( Mark 5:25-26 ) The Bible speaks of the woman that had the issue of blood for twelve years, whose physical, spiritual, and financial situation did not improve, but worsened, until she came to Jesus. We should learn to have faith in God for today, because tomorrow may not be any easier for us; in fact, things may be worse. Passage Three: "God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath he said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" ( Num. 23:19 ) Child of God, now is the time to believe God for salvation, healings, and blessings for ourselves and others.
