Steele Named Teacher of The Year

Susan Steele is an English I and 7th grade reading and language arts teacher. Steele has been in the educationfield for 25 years. She has spent the last 17 of those years at Pageland Middle. Steele stated, "I believe thateducation is a continuous process that shapes the student into a productive member of society. Education is aprocess by which the parents, the school and the individual teacher have the responsibility to prepare thestudent by giving him/her the necessary skills to function in society whether he/her is handicapped, remedial,vocational or academic."
