What is DRN?

Disability Research Network, or DRN, is an information and referral service for disability related topics. The program is funded by a grant from the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) and is located at the Springfield Center for Independent Living (SCIL). The staff at DRN uses both computer listings and our own library files to provide the most accurate information for you.

Who can use DRN?

DRN encourages inquires from professionals, individuals, family members organizations, or anyone wanting information pertaining to disabilities.

How do I use the Network’s Services?

To use DRN, you can fill out the form, call, or write to the address below. Describe the type of information you need and our staff members will be happy to help you.

* Because we are a state funded organization, all out-of-state request will be charged $10.00 to cover operational costs.
