The only unattached Spice, it wasn't so long ago that Mel C's fondness for tracksuits put her squarely at the bottom of most blokes' Spice wish-list. But those days are gone, and along with her switch to designer gear come rumours of a dalliance with craggy rocker Bryan Adams while recording their Top Five single - which has to mean we're all in with a chance. Go Sporty..um er Sexy!
Mel C said that the next Spice Girls single will be called "SPICE
FUNK"(ooh-aah), and that her new single will be called "The World Is NotEnough."

Mel c lived up to her sporty nickname the other day when she did a charity fun run in los angeles where she's still hanging out recording her debut solo album.
Mel registered for the event under her real name--Melanie Chisholm-- and was joined by over 50,000 others on the fourth annual Run For Women
while other stars taking part--including halle berry and NYPD Blue bloke dennis franz--demanded the red star treatment, ouor mel kept a low profile and (naturally) finished towards the front of the pack, looking as cool and collected as ever.

MELANIE C GETS NEUROTIC!!!
Still in Los Angeles recording her new album, Melanie C teamed up with the Neurotic Outsiders at the legendary Viper Room club.
the Neurotic who??? The group is an 'old boys' band made up of Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols, John Taylor from Duran Duran and several Guns'n'Roses peeps.
Melanie fronted three songs -- Billy Idols' 'White Wedding' and the Pistols' punk anthems 'Pretty Vacant' and 'Anarchy in the UK'
She was the first female to play with the band, who have performed there every Monday since they got together, but previous special guests have included Billy Idol, Simon le Bon, Iggy Pop and memebers of the Cult
'After the gig I was approached by all these big guys with leather jackets and loads of tattoos saying 'Melanie--you rock!! It was so cool!!'
At one point during 'Anarchy' Melanie changed the words from 'I am an anti christ, i am an anarchist' to 'I am an antic christ, I am a Sporty Spice!!!'
