So who am I, sbz?

Well, for starters, that name is simply my initials. The s and b are my real first and last name while the z is an internet name I use. I put them all together oh... many years ago.

I’m a born and raised Canadian, which is why that letter u shows up in the darndest places. I have a vareity of interests. Since I was young I've loved mythology and ancient cultures - which is why I have a degree in ancient history and a sociology minor which, I admit, has influenced my writing. I'm also an avid video and computer game player, literally since I was old enough to hold the controllers. And I enjoy a vareity of different television shows, musical genres, and the like.

Other bizarre things: I hate shopping; I love thunderstorms; I have one cat (used to be two and one dog); I don't really like driving; I took French in school (as required since it's an official language here) but hated it; I took Japanese in high school and liked it a bit more; I took Latin in University; I'm fluent in none of those languages; I hated school - with a passion.

I’ve been writing for myself – as in, no educational institution required it – since I was about thirteen. I am as of now (2008) twenty-one. I love talking about writing, whether it be my own stuff or just in general, and encourage anyone and everyone to e-mail me. It makes my day. Seriously.
