In order to become a veterinarian you have to go to university. Different universities have different entry requirements.
Depending on the university that is offering the course will depend on the length of study required. For example, The University of Queensland offers a 5 year undergraduate course, however The University of Adelaide requires students to have a Bachelor of Science degree before begining a 3 year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
