Personal Biography
Doctor Mivkori Keron was a rising star in the field of genetics at Starfleet Medical. Considered the expert in genetics at the time, Doctor Keron's work into advanced immunology and genetic therapies was considered highly controversial. During the Dominion War, Doctor Keron was responsible for advanced anti-viral agents given to Starfleet forces for the war. However, his research into advanced immune boosting genetics caused conflift with the Medical brass. It was then that Doctor Keron went overboard by the review board. He created three genetic clones using a combination of his own DNA with female and small amounts of animal DNA.
Following the creation of these genetic clones, Doctor Keron and his creations were arrested. It was then that Doctor Keron was courtmartialed for violation of the Eugenics Laws. His research logs were siezed, and his creations were put into permanent psychiatric custody. Doctor Keron's license within the Federation to practice medicine was revoked, and due to his high status and aid from an undisclosed Admiral, his Federation citizenship was revoked, and using his resources he was able to get a runabout and escorted out of Federation space.
It has since been discovered that Doctor Keron kept three copies of his research notes and one of them was missing. Starfleet Intellegence was able to confirm that Doctor Keron ended up working for a high level member of the Orion Syndicate. It has been believed that he used his genetic skills to create assasins and agents for the boss of this group within the Syndicate. Starfleet Intellegence twice tried to eliminate or sabotage Dr. Keron's work, however, they were unsuccessful. The teams were captured and believed used for experimentation.
Following the second unsuccessful attempt, Starfleet Intellegence learned that the boss intended to eliminate the doctor when his latest batch of clone assasins were complete. Two days before that, in a bloody and almost animalistic fashion many of the top members of the branch were killed. One week later, the boss of the group was found murdered as well. Following this and with no one to challenge him, Doctor Keron assumed full control over the operation, becoming a boss. With this new change he dropped his title and first name, becoming known only as Keron.
After this change, Starfleet Intellegence has lost all contact with informants and deep cover agents within that part of the Orion Syndicate. However, it has been determined that a few other bosses have in a few instances tried to take him out. Thus far, all attempts have been unsuccessful. The motives of Keron are not understood, though he was known to repeatedly complain that Starfleet was holding his "children". It is not known if the doctor has suffered from a psychological imbalance, or if the pressures of the Syndicate have transformed him into a heartless Syndicate boss. Starfleet Intellegence has yet to come up with a profile on Keron, his motivations, or where he may become involved. So far, all contact with Keron has been negative and the recommendation is that Starfleet Intellegence not at this time make any moves towards him.
