Rules, Regulations, and Good-to-know Things

Welcome to the rules page! I'm glad to see that the front page didn't scare you away. These may seem extensive, and I'll tell you right now, -Yes- they are extensive. "Why?" You ask. Well, I say. It's because of other people. Other people who did not take the time to read the original rules or be considerate to other players. Other people who didn't listen to the guild council or listen to me when we asked them nicely not to do something. If you've ever seen a game with a lot of rules...that is why.
I have tried to set this up as more of a Question and Answer thing. Hopefully, it will help.
Well, are you ready? Good.

Let's start with the Message Board Rules

* What is the message board, and can't I play my neopets here?
On the guild page itself, there is a message board. On this message board, people write things. These things are dubbed poses. They are called poses because they are a pose of your character. This character is a wolf. W-o-l-f. Not a lupe, my friends. These are wolves just like you might find in Yellowstone National Park.
* But...but...but! You exclaim! Those wolves are...flying and stuff!
Yes, yes they can fly. They can also use fire and water and lightning to their advantage. This subject will be covered later on.
* Well, fine then. So, why won't anyone answer me when I post!? I've been waiting for a half hour already!
This is easy to answer and may be the most important rule yet. In this guild, I like to stress relaxation and fun. There is a One Post Per Day rule for the message board. I can't stress this enough. We have had more people come and leave because "No one was on" than I'd like to remember.
* Then how come people have an "IC" and an "OOC" in separate posts?
This is the one exception to the previous rule. Sometimes we write things that are too long to fit in one box, so we separate our wolves' pose from what we want to tell the other people in the guild, out of characterly.
* Why can't I have admin powers? I told you I could help with the layout! I'll make it look so much better. This is where the trust factor comes in. Only council has the ability to change things because a.) they have been around a long time and b.) they got into council by earning my (Wolfpup's) trust. Believe me, they have enough special rules to keep them busy.

Now, onto the Game Rules

* Can I have more than one character and more than one "Specialty"?
No and no.
* ...But, why does that "Blade" character have "All" listed as her specialty and how come so many people have puppy characters?
Blade is my character. Being alpha both ICly and OOCly, she needs to specialize in everything in order to 'teach' it to everyone else. Those other people have more than one character because they recieved a wolf from an alpha litter. No, you may not hold your own alpha litter. Right now, Mahst and Blade are the only alphas and decide between themselves if having one would be a good idea.
* Teach?! What in the world does that mean?
Assuming that you have read and tried to understand the page on Points and powers, I will detail this here. Once you have gained enough points (which I will explain in a bit) to earn a power, your wolf character is now capable of whatever ability that is. However, your character is not able to preform that ability yet.
