Evzen Lorenzo Vitale	Evzen is 6'6" and 225 pounds. He is dark tanned, with long black hair worn in a low ponytail, and dark and brooding eyes. He's had a hard life, one that left scars on both body and soul. He owns a horse farm in Kentucky, breeding and training horses. He also runs a program that rescues colts that would otherwise be killed. He feeds them, trains them, and either sells them as children's riding stock, or donates them to programs that need reliable horses.
Liljana Rasputin Vitale	Liljana grew up in one of the last of the Kumpanias that wound its way across Europe. She was betrothed to Evzen when her father died, leaving her an orphan. She works at a shelter for battered women and children, and helps Evzen run the horse farm they own.
Djidjo Jona Maliche	Evzen's "Mama," Jona raised Evzen and his twin, Damek, after his birth mother abandoned them in her care. Jona was a vampire who survived the holocaust as a girl. She married Nefarious, although that didn't last long.
Amet "Nefarious" Maliche	Nefarious was an Egyptian, once, who knew Queen Cleopatra. The most exotic and erotic thing about her was the power she wielded. Nefarious grew to wield power of his own... and two small children and a wife only get in the way of power like that.
