The laws of these lands are pretty simple and straight forward.
~IC~
1)You must respect members of your guild, you are expected to be close, you work side by side, and in times of war you will need to fight side by side.
2)in case of a situation requiring war, a formal declaration of war is expected to be issued.
3)If you are in another guilds lands, please respect them, remember wars have been started over very little. Don't start one over a bar fight.
~OOC~
I shouldn't really have to go over rules of RP, but sometimes if it's not written down, then someone may think its ok...
1) most important, DON'T CRP. CRP can be defined in the following ways. Learning something OOC and having your char automatically know it, Thats just poor rp you and your char do NOT talk on a regular basis, you do not communicate by telepathy (Yes, I've heard these excuses before). If you have a char die, don't create another char with the purpose of
avenging your other char's death. Nor, start a fight with someone, using a low dice char, then go get your higher dice char to finish the fight.
2) Don't come up with a ridiculous s/l, and expect people to drop everything to rp it with you. Everyone has their own s/l's, or are looking for s/l's they want to play. If someone isn't interested, then respect their decision.
3) No hissy fits, we welcome people of all ages, and rp skills, the older more experienced ones try either by actually teaching the younger less experienced. If you cant handle things not going your way, then don't play. If you're having a hard time understanding what's going on feel free to ask your gc's, or one of the chancellor.
4) No mun bashing, I don't want to hear about how you know someone from on-line or IRL, and their a jerk. I don't want to hear complaints about how someone is a guy playing a girl, girl playing a guy, or a monkey playing your mother. I dont even want to hear how they're a big lousy poo poo head. I've had fun playing friends with people I cant stand, and became friends with them anyway
I've rped a lover of a woman that was played by a man, I've seen women play great men...this is a game, thats all..nothing to get all bent out of shape over.
I think that pretty much covers everything. The list may be updated from time to time, hopefully to help clarify, not make the game restrictive.
