Proctors are the only Reg available thats not specifically tied to one profession.
Anyone may get a reg to be a proctor, only reg'd Proctors can get paid to do so.
When scrolling terms you must state your Reg # or you will not get paid. The only exception is if you are proctoring a match for your reg. You must send a copy of your memory orbs of the matches for your reg to the Director of Proctors. Once approved the Director will send you your reg # and you will be paid. If you are not approved the Director will give notice as to why your app was declined
When applying for your reg, you must submit the logs of a Mass Spar with no fewer than 5 people participating, as well as a spar, mock SM, RM, HM or DM. Due to the nature of a SM, RM, HM and DM's only reg'd Proctors may officiate an actual match.
Mass Spars;
This is a friendly fight among 3 or more people. The Proctor may participate.
The Proctors job is to make sure the fight is fair, and that no hard feelings arise. If there looks like there might be, then the proctor is to give fair warning to the participants before dqing the person or persons involved.
Pregnant participants are advised not to fight in any match, but if they agree on the record to join, and they state they understand the risk they may join in, During the scroll the proctor must state who is pregnant and that there is to be no belly shots. (If one is made, the proctor may ask the attacker to re-direct the hit, but wont need to re-roll. for example they may direct the hit to the arms, legs or face. Or may opt to tickle or kiss. If they refuse, then the proctor is allowed to fall back on the age old rule, "Proctors word is law", and may then dq the attacker, the attack is forgotten and the MS continues.)
Spar;
A simple one on one fight. The Proctor may participate.
If the participants are more than 15 dice apart, then the HPs may be set no higher than 100, or the proctor can use set dice.
If both participants are d20-d30, then the HPs are set to 20 (unless no one has anything better to do than rp a spar all night)
If both participants are d30-d40 hit points are set to 50
If both Participants are d40-d50 Hit points are set to 100
Anything higher then that HP may be set to 300 with the exception of, if both participants are d90+ then HP may be set to 400
Slave Match
Terms of enslavement must be decided beforehand and stated in the scroll. This must include length of time of enslavement, whether sex or beatings is allowed and how long of a wait before RM challenge can be made.
The loser of a SM may not fight in another SM, and must get permission to fight in any other kind of fight. The winner is held accountable for the well being of the slave during the time the loser is a slave.
Participants may not proctor their own SM's, a neutral Proctor must be agreed to.
RM;
A Release match may be fought once allowed by the terms of the SM. Again terms must be agreed upon before the match starts, and then stated in the scroll including if the slave will be required to serve an additional time if they should lose again.
Just like with a SM, a participant may not proctor their own RM.
HM
Honor Matches are fought if someone's honor has been insulted, questioned, or instead of a DM if the situation doesn't call for a DM
During the scroll terms which were agreed to before the match are displayed
Participants are not allowed to proctor their own HM
Death Match
The most serious of matches. 2 people enter, only one comes out. It is the job of the Proctor to make sure there the reason for the DM justifies the DM. The proctor is excused of liability if the GC or Chancellor of both participants allows the DM or in times of war.
During the scroll terms including rezz rights must be included. Participants may not proctor their own DM. Logs must be sent to the Weapons Master just like all the other matches, as well as the GC of the guilds of both participants as well as the Director of Proctors along with any orbs involving what led up to the DM for review.
