Plants
Plants are the driving force behind life in the Trigun world. Although the large sources of power are called Plants, the Plants themselves are really humanoid creatures who live in the core of these factories. Capable of supplying almost limitless energy, they are what helps terraform the planet and keep away the deadly sand storms. There are actually numerous Plants, as the original, engineered, crash into the planet was meant only for human ships. There are, therefore, many unused factories and Plants out there. It turns out, though, that the Plants assume an even more human form outside of the factories. They seem almost completely human, but they have more powerful muscles, better reflexes, and more precise vision. They can grow to maturity, by human standards, in a mere 4 years from child-like forms, and seem to stop aging afterwards. Once out of the factory, however, they stop giving off energy. They also do not heal as efficiently, and this can leave large gaping chunks torn from their bodies. Numerous of them have been released from lost factories now, and they are becoming more and more common, although few people realize it, for the distinction on just sight it almost impossible.

After any wound doing 25% or more of maximum health, they PERMANENTLY lose 2 points from max health.
Plants have an integral and innate knowledege of High Tech and can use all machines etc. associated there with
Humans
Humans are the current "Ruling Race" of the planet. They are, for the most part, the most common living humanoid. They live in small villages, and rely on deep wells and machinary for water, and to keep off the dangerous windstorms. They are a hardy folk, farmers, merchants, and business men. They make guns of many varieties, but few large explosives, for though they remember little of the past, they are yet haunted by the phantom of the ruined earth, and so avoid many of the powerful weapons of old.
Game Stats
Humans MAY have a knowledge of High Tech, at the player's option. Only a few people really would, so reasonably the average person wouldn't. If you write a GOOD history for your char. that involves High Tech you can have High Tech Knowledge, otherwise, no.
