My Past: An old life

I was born in London, England, in the year 1974, to a middle class family, my mother worked as teacher in the local College, and my father was a high-ranking officer in the army. I led an ordinary life; I went to school, and left with several A’s in my GCSE’s. While attending the school, I took karate as an extra curricular activity; I went on to represent the school in tournaments and won three. I then moved to Cornwall, in the south west coast of England to do a computing course, and lived with my Uncle Grant. He was a martial arts champion, and trained me whenever I wasn’t at college and he wasn’t at work, he worked in for a car company and was the manager of the local store. While at college I represented my local martial arts centre in tournaments and also the county, my interest and abilities in martial arts improved, and when I left college I represented England in national tournaments, I had 5 championship wins under my belt, by the time I had moved to America. I moved to America in 1995 to get a job working for a big computer company, and to keep up with my martial arts. It was at one of these martial arts tournaments that I met a very special girl, her name was Opium. I had just left the tournament and gone to the bar in the stadium, it was in the bar that I met her. From the moment I saw her I knew there was something special about her, the way she walked, the way she spoke, even the way she breathed, captivated me. I plucked up the courage to ask her if she wanted a drink, she said yes, and we got talking, exchanged numbers, and started meeting up regularly, it wasn’t long before I fell madly in love with her, we started dating, and with each passing day, my feelings grew stronger for her. A few years into the relationship, she told me a dark secret of hers, telling me this secret could have put her life and her family’s life in danger. Her secret was that she was a vampire; at first I thought she was joking, but then it all began to make sense, why we always met at night, why she always had a "drink" before she left to meet me and why I had to leave. She told me that she was immortal, and that she would live on long after I had died, my plans of marriage, growing old together and dying together were lost, I couldn’t protect her, couldn’t see her as often as I wanted to because of work and training. I packed my bags and left, only a few weeks after, I had left her a note, explaining why I had left, a note, which she never got.

My life: The present

I then moved to Asia, where I found the base of a very powerful group of vampires, I had searched for a group in the few weeks before I left. When I got there, I was greeted by a mountain of a man, he was my contact with the group I was to meet, apparently they had had their eye on me for some time, sending agents to my tournaments and keeping tabs on me at work. When I got there I was trained by them for a few years, they taught me how to clear my mind, from fear, doubt, anger and even love, if I was to succeed in my missions, then I would need a clear head to be able to asses, the task at hand. Finally, I was beckoned by a family in San Francisco. The family wanted a child and had sent a letter to the Alamut asking for permission, they agreed and sent me. When I got there the family welcomed me with open arms, I found that I had a sister, called Gina, she was great, she always saw the positive side of everything, my mother, was the one who embraced me and looked after the family, my father, much like Gina also saw the positive side to things and was always there when I needed him, as was all my family, then things changed, my new father is dead, the family is in disarray and I have left, I hope not for long, now my future will unfold...
