The Mriswith Lair..Also known as: The Graveyard.

Good evening. By now you're probably asking yourself "What is a Mriswith, and why is it trompsing around Ayenee, eating people?" Mriswith are a group of beings from a book series called Sword of Truth, by an Author named Terry Goodkind. In this world, Magic is quite rare, and up until probably 3-4 years in the series( or less..probably 1-2!) there were 2 barriers set up, blocking off three parts of the world from eachother. Westland possessed no magic, and the people were as simple and bumpkin as normal kings and queens of the medevil era. Technology is very small. There's no christiandom or other religion to muddle with the mundanes minds, so things are relatively calm and natural. Like a less conservative renisance fair, pretty much the Midlands possess a great deal of magic, and the majority of the young wizards dwell there. Rich in resources and kingdoms, it's rather well off in population and comfort. The Old Land and D'hara are as far east on the land as you can get. The Royal Rahl family ruled over D'hara with an iron fist, and through either packs or behind-the-scenes trickery over many other parts of the area as well. Protected by the barriers for over 20 years, D'hara and the dusty moldy tomes of the Old Land have had time to sharpen their claws. Mriswith, for hundreds of years, have been a race of reptilian resembling beings with the power of indetectable invisibility. They're ferocious assassins, and only those with the power of Subtractive Magic ( No, you cannot just "Make" a war wizard character.) have the capacity to even be aware of their presence when hidden in their Cape. In the third book, the Mriswith population was hit with a severe blow when the Queen was done away with by the lead hero of the book. How, and who, I am not going to say.. I hope you'll read it for yourself.but I can guarentee it doesn't take away from my explenation With the queen slain, the Mriswith nation broke apart. They haven't been seen or heard from since (big surprise on their part, right?) and the potential to show up in all sorts of places exists. This story brings us to the singular Mriswith, Sazalath. A diet lacking in the necessary essentials for life forced him to seek out an alternative eating habbit: The mutative shift from Anthropomorphics from human was just what his diet needed. In a deliciously high concentration. Becoming as dangerous and well known throughout the Ayenee anthromorph community as the flesh-eating boogyman, he lives a life of constants. Constant feeting, constant hunting, constant brawling. It's unknown if anybody has ever survived a bout with the creature, those that've lived long enough to brawl with him face-to-face have never lived past that. A side effect is the magics and transmutative anthropomorph features racing throughout his metabolism have increased his muscle mass considerably, though not without a -slight- decrease in the otherwise impressive speed in which he both dashes and sprints. The Benefits far outweigh the negatives, and the narcotic effects of the blood to his system have turned him into an absolute addict. ...Of course, this is all out of character information. All anybody knows about him IC is that he uses a pair of knives with 3 blades, pops up out of nowhere like a ninja (the purpose of a mriswith is to flip out and kill everybody! mriswith fight ALL the time!..Yes, this is a Realultimatepower.net spoof), and has beady yellow eyes. Whether through spells,or nano probe spys, one would -never- have more information than this without first inquireing to me OOCly. Unless, of course, your character happens to be from the Sword of Truth universe. No, I will not accept "catboy_war_wizard_allen" as an example as a viable cantidate.
