TALES OF THE DREAMING
FORGING WEAPONS AND OTHER TOOLS.

In order to forge a weapon in game you must bring 4 quicksilver, 4 cold iron, or 4 Spirit Silk to a forge. Then you declare that you are forging either the 4 quicksilver, Spirit Silk or coldiron to create a weapon. You must give the spent components to Joshua Macneil, Dan Comstock, or Keith Johnson immediatily. You must construct a tag that must be taped to the weapon that will say either "1 silver", "1 essence" or "1 cold iron". You may temper it more if a God of War is around and willing to do it. See the God of War's ability for tempering. The Foam boffer weapon you use must be approved by Dan Comstock. If you want to change the kind of boffer you use the tag for you must take the weapon back to the forge and declare you are reshaping it. Then the tag is transfered to the new boffer sword. If you want help with making a boffer weapon just check the boffer making section of the website or just ask one of the GMs.

You may also spend 4 of any currency at the forge to create a shield. The shield must have a tag attached to it at all times. The shield must be approved for saftey by Dan Comstock.

You may spend 4 of any currency to craft a bow. You must have a tag attacked to the bow at all times. The bow boffer must be approved for use by Dan Comstock.

You may spend 1 quicksilver, 1 cold iron, or 1 Spirit Silk to create a quiver of 15 arrows which do 1 point of the type of material used to craft the arrows. You must tie a streamer to the end of a spell packer so that it will look like an arrow (kinda) as it flies through the air. Block arrows are destroyed, arrows that miss can be recovered.

All weapons over 47 inches are considered a two handed weapon. In order to attack with weapons of this size, you must have both hands on the grip of the weapon. You can still block with it in one hand.

Note: You are responsible for supplying your own boffer weapons, and no weapons may be used that have not been approved by Dan Comstock. If you have any questions about construction of boffer email us and we'll be happy to help.
