Talisman Chart

Enchanting Talismans

Please read the section on Components and Currency before reading this chart.

In order to enchant a talisman, you must have the skill “Create Talisman”. The enchantment must be done on a three count.

You must acquire a talisman tag. This is a small card which must be carried with the talisman at all times. If the talisman is stolen, you must hand over the tag as well. If the talisman is used up, the tag must be ripped up. The tag must be signed by any of the Game Masters. When you get the tag, you must give him the material components you spent at the forge.

You may choose the form of a talisman. It can be a necklace, a bracelet, a favorite mug, a shampoo bottle, anything that does not already have an in-game tag, like an existing talisman, quicksilver, a weapon, et cetera. Also if the talisman has a certain requirement for rep that must be used.

If the talisman requires an activation phrase or action, the creator of the talisman chooses what this is. This means that in order to activate the properties of the talisman, you must say a phrase, perform an action, or something similar. This can be as simple as “Praise be to Vecna!” or something complicated like a poem. Actions can be anything from a gesture (like clapping ones hands), or a task, like drinking a glass of water, or climbing a tree.

At Level 1 Talisman Craft

Minor Health Potion-restores one health- costs 1 mana and 1 lesser component. (Ether, Screws, Gremlin Hair, Goblin Scale) This may only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid.

Minor Mana Potion- restores one Mana- costs 1 mana and 1 lesser component. (Ether, Screws, Gremlin Hair, Goblin Scale) This may only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid.

Minor Spirit Potion- restores one essence- costs 1 mana and 1 lesser component. (Ether, Screws, Gremlin Hair, Goblin Scale) This may only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid.

Smelling Salts- You can use smelling salts on someone who has been knocked out from flat damage. Upon using this talisman the target gains back 1 health and is awakened. Once this talisman is used the tag must be destoryed. Costs 2 lesser components (Ether, Screws, Gremlin Hair, Goblin Scales.) Must be repped with a small container of somekind and used by holding the container under the nose of the target.

At Level 2 Talisman Craft

Lesser Health Potion- restores two health- costs 3 mana and 1 Currency. This may only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid.

Lesser Mana Potion- restores two mana- costs 3 mana and Currency. This may only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid.

Lesser Spirit Potion- restores two essence- costs 3 mana and 1 Currency. This may only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid.

Protective: Elemental- You may create a talisman which will allow the user to call resist against one form of element. The element must be declared upon the creation of this talisman. Once this talisman is used is destroyed. It costs 4 mana and 3 lesser components (Ether, Screws, and Gremlin Hair, Goblin Scale) to make.

At Level 3 Talisman Craft

Healing Potion- Restores 4 points of Health. This costs 4 mana, one currency. This can only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid

Mana Potion- restores 4 points of Mana. This costs 4 mana and one currency. This can only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid

Spirit Potion- restores 4 points of Essence. This costs 3 mana and one currency. This can only be used once and must be phys repped by a drink of somekind. To activate the potion you must drink the liquid

Protective: Circle of Destruction- You may create a talisman, which will nullify the effects of a Circle of Destruction. Every 30 seconds while in a Circle of Destruction instead of taking damage you should call "no effect". This costs 5 mana, and 2 currency. Quicksilver and lasts for six months

Protective: Circle of Banishment- You may create a talisman, which will nullify the effects of a Circle of banishment. Instead of taking the effect you should call "no effect". This costs 6 mana, 4 Cold Iron, 2 Quicksilver and lasts for six months

Talisman of Revelation- You may create a talisman, which will reveal to the wearer who is the sender of Dream Visions. This costs 3 mana and 3 Spirit Silk. This Talisman lasts for six months.

Talisman of Resist Poision- You may create a talisman, which will allow you to resist one poison attack. When struck with a poision blow call "resist" the damamge and poision effect is nullified. Once used this talisman is destroyed. This costs 6 mana 2 currency.

Talisman of Resist Magic- You may create a talisman, which will allow you to call “resist” and thereby take no effect to one packet delivered spell. Within 5 minutes of the talisman being created a spell must be cast on it. This is the spell that the talisman allows you to resist. Once this talisman is used it is destroyed. This costs 6 mana and three currency. This expires in 6 months.

Enchanted Arrows- You may create a quiver of Arrows, which deal Elemental damage. The element is chosen upon creation from flame, ice, stone, or shock. This quiver of 15 arrows now deals 4 damage of the pre-determined type. The arrows cannot be recollected once thrown. This costs 6 mana and 2 currency.

Totem- This talisman allows the dead god to posses this totem to change his worship site. A tag must be fastened to the totem at all times. This talisman will break after use. This talisman should be physically represented by an animal form (stuffed animal, statuette, animal cracker). In order to activate the shrine the dead god must now draw the animal on the new worship site. This talisman cost 6 mana, 2 goblin scale, and 3 ether to make and expires in 6 months.

At Level 4 Talisman Craft

Wizard’s Wand- You may create a Wand. After the wand is created you may cast a spell from either the sorcerer or shaman tree on the staff to charge it. You must know the spell in order to charge it into the wand. You must roleplay charging the staff for 60 seconds. Once you cast the spell you lose the mana or it but it is charged into the staff. You may then cast the spell charged on the Staff as a “by my wand” spell. Once the spell is cast the wand shatters. This costs 5 mana 2 spirit Silk and 2 currency and expires in 6 months.

Amulet of Desecration-Must be Phys reped with an worn amulet. Bearer may use this talisman by standing in one corner of a santified room for 10 seconds. At the conclusion of the ten seconds they must knock on the corner, you must then proceed to do this at every corner of the room. Once this ritual is started it cannot be stopped. The caster cannot willingly stop the ritual, and any PCs must let the caster into each corner to complete the ritual. Once the last corner has been kncoked upon, the talisman disapears and the room is no longer sanctified. This talisman cost 8 mana, 3 Spirit Silk, and 5 Quicksilver. Expires in 6 months.

Spell Book- A Phys Rep of the Book Must BE constructed. It must have a tag attached to it at all times. The Bearer of this book may write any incants for any Sorcerer skills the have in the book. They may now Hold the book open to the page the incant is written on and deliver the spell by saying it’s effect, rather then the full incant. Holding this book requires a free hand. This will not allow the caster to use spells they don’t already know (i.e. if the book changes hands). This costs 15 mana and 10 currency and expires in 6 months.

Talisman of Resist Charm- You may create a talisman, which will allow you to call “resist” and thereby take no effect from one spell with the word “charm” in the incant. Once this talisman is used it is destroyed. This costs 8 mana and 4 currency. This expires in 6 months.

At Level 5 Talisman Craft

Chaos Wand- You may create a Wand. After the wand is created you may cast a spell from either the sorcerer or shaman tree on the staff to charge it, therefore you must know the spell in order to charge it into the wand. You must roleplay charging the staff for 60 seconds. Once you cast the spell you lose the mana or it but it is charged into the staff. You may then cast the spell charged on the Staff as a “by my voice” spell. Once the spell is cast the wand shatters. The user of this wand is not affected by the spells effect. This costs 10 mana, 5 spirit Silk and 5 currency and expires in 6 months.

Wizard’s Staff- You may create a staff. After the Staff is created you may cast a spell from either the sorcerer or shaman tree on the staff to charge it, therefore you must know the spell in order to charge it into the staff. You must roleplay charging the staff for 60 seconds. Once you cast the spell you lose the mana or it but it is charged into the staff. You may then cast the spell charged on the Staff as a “by my wand” spell. Once the spell is cast you may repeat the process from before to charge it. This costs 10 mana, 5 spirit Silk and 5 currency and expires in 4 month.

Heart Stones- These rare stones can be used by Gods of War to temper weapons and occasionally shields. These stones require special components found through rare creatures and high alchemy. Formulas for finding these stones are found in game.

Talisman of Resist Weapon Type- You may create a talisman, which will allow the holder to call “no effect” and thereby take no effect from one type of damage call. Upon creation of the talisman you must choose “silver”, “iron”, or “essence”. This costs 8 mana and 10 currency of the type you want to resist and expires in 2 weeks.
