Channel/Rooms

Channels or Chat Rooms are where we do all the role-playing. You can find TetraStarRPG on the Darkmyst IRC server. You can visit the place by going to www.Darkmyst.org. You can also do a search and find MIRC or PIRCH, which are chat programs.

#TetraStarOOC
This is the out of character meeting/room for all new and experienced players, and for those who are interested in playing the game.

#TS_MarketQuarter
This room is based on the Capital planet Sol Prime in the Sol star system. This is actually a market quarter, filled with all kinds of shops and other establishments. People often come here to buy things or trade, or enjoy the restauranst, parks, and festivities.
Within the Room:
The way this room operates is simple. Any merchant class that has his business with rights given by a merchant license can be in this room and setup shop. For clarity, all merchants and business folk have to have identification. That means that when in the room, you must carry a tag on your chat room nick. The tag must be an abbreviation of your business or business type. For Example: JoJo-IS. I.S. stands of Item Shop. Tag could basically mean anything, but there are a few that are quite useful. Any other person that enters the room does not and should not have a tag to their nick.

IS = Item Shop
CS =Clothing Store
WS = Weapon Shop
EO = Equipment Outlet
RC = Restaurant Court
BS = Black Market Shop

Note:
Keep in mind that in this room, role-play is important. People don't just appear out of nowhere and enter a shop. Make it realistic. There are many things that can happen in the vast Market Sector, good or bad.

#TS_NightClub
This is a nightclub, own by the famous and wealthy businessman _______. He provides job opportunity for those that he sees are worthy or in great need.

Within the Room:
This is a place of entertainment. The walls are sometimes lined with monitor screens that display all kinds of advertisements and propaganda, music videos, and more. The place is filled with loud music that is almost deafening so do not assume that you can hear everything. There are several sections of tables where people can sit on the lower floor, first floor, second floor, and third floor. Access to each floor above and below the first floor (entrance level) are ramps or stairs to walk up or down on. There are also sections on each floor where dance floors are located. These floors are vast and usually filled with dancing people. Never assume that the place is empty just because the chat room lacks player characters. This place never sleeps. The entire place has access terminals where people can log into the Information Nexus and withdraw money or find out about the latest news, etc. There are food and drinks. There are robotic waitresses ready to serve, and there are access terminals on each table where people can order and pay for food and drinks. Each floor is built almost like a hollow circle, with only dance areas protruding out into the hollow center. Each dance area is a semi-circle as it is attached to the hollow circular floor its on. Inside, the place would appear as if you are inside a cylindrical shaft. High above all the room is the management sector, which is lined with rooms. Sometimes you can see Night Club operators that control the entire place by computer looking out and down from through the windows. Sometimes you may even see the owner. The lower floor is larger than you would think. Parts of it are hidden by the first floor where there are entrances no to just bathrooms, but to long hallways where people can find rows of doors that lead to personal rooms. You have to pay to use these rooms at the access terminals beside the doorway. If the room is vacant, one can pay for it for however many hors he or she wish. Then they can use that room to engage in romantic activities. These rooms are completely private and secured. The place is filled with personal security guards that will watch for any undesirable activity.

Note:
Every floor has a bathroom. The only way in or out of the club is on the first floor. The music is loud so don't assume you can heard everything. If you are not next to the person or anywhere near, you are least likely to her him or her. Sex is allowed in the game, but not allowed in the chat room/Night Club. Entering the personal rooms means that you are willing to go to private chat mode to at out sexual scenes. This is completely optional. Sex does not have to be if you do not want it. If characters are romantically involved, it is okay to show it. ANYTHING SEXUAL MEANING BODY PARTS OR REFERENCE TO THEM IN A PRONALGRAPHIC OR EXPLICIT WAY is not allowed. Kissing is allowed, touching is allowed, and so on. There are also security guards in the place so beware!

#TS_Space
This is the open and vast realm of space, where anything can happen.

Note: Starships usually go by their own tag name for easier identification.

Within Room:
Space is a vast realm, capable of accommodating anything. If you are in space, then you are inside a space ship or some kind of vessel or structure. Player/characters can be in the room as a group or alone, but it is always assumed that they are in some kind of vessel. Tags are required for this room, meaning that all persons within certain and individual vessels must carry the same tag. For example: John-ss1 Mary-ss1 and Robert-ss1 are in the same vessel. They can then role-play around each other. They cannot possibly speak to Jason-tnn2 because he is in another ship. Communication between ships is possible through communication technology, but this must be stated and acted out or it will not occur. Yes, there can be battles in space, but the ships must be able to detect each other. Death in space is very possible, which makes being there a difficult thing no matter what ship you are in. If you are on a ship visiting another planet, you can role-play that but it must be stated, otherwise construct a temporary room to act this situation out.

#TS_Quest
This is anywhere there is solid ground whether it be inside a starship or on a planet.

Within the Room:
Quests are done in two ways, Story Mode and Virtual Mode. Virtual Mode is open for just about any and all player/characters. Usually an OP will state in the OOC room that there will be a Virtual Quest. Any one can enter and role-play to earn experience and level up, etc. Story Mode is a bit different. They are planned, and only allow those that collaborate on that the quest ma y be. All people involved must collaborate with each other and collaborate with an OP. If everything is valid, then the Op will be the overseer and regulator of the Quest. Quests are open for those that want to be involved and collaborate. Those that sign up to be important figures in the Role-Playing Novel and timeline hold some quests.

#TS_Psi-Walk
This is a meeting place for psi-walkers.

Within the Room:
This is Headquarters and home to all psi-walkers. Being in this room means that you are now within the science complex where the Project Psi-Walk is held. You have spent all you life here practicing, learning, and studying. Here you will have access to all this that pertain to you. Here you will meet your peers and receive you mission briefings from your superiors.
