I am the Chosen One!
Every 100 years the 'true' Goddess allows a righteous soul from Celestia to be born in the damned world of Terrestia. This person will no have no memory of any former life but their role is to move among the people until such time as the Goddess summons them. In the subsequent interview the Goddess will ask the Chosen One to select one soul who has proved themselves worthy of leaving Terrestia and ascending to the Heaven realm. This task is not without it's perils as the Shadowmancers believe the Chosen One's soul, if enslaved, will provide them with a way to open a gate to Celestia.
