Rules & Joining

1- Be active
2- Don't cuss, or use any other offensive words.
3- Absolutely no adult content, like p0rn wether it be in pictures or typing.
4- No powerplaying or godmoding, it's very annoying and agrivates people.
5- No magic, powers, or elements. Your character(s) may not have features that real wolves wouldn't have; like green fur, wings, huge fangs; ect.
6- You can join as a wolf (arctic, timber/gray, or red wolf), Maned Wolf (which is really a wild dog, not a wolf), a wolf-hybrid, or a coyote-hybrid. You can join as a dog, but I'd prefere that you didn't join too many pure dogs. You cannot join as an Etheopian or Mexican wolf unless it is a hybrid. Ethiopian and Mexican wolves cannot survive the overall climate that exists in Sparkling Creek Valley. If they are a hybrid, then they must have some breed of dog or other wolf that can survive the colder climates.

Hunting
Prey, as well as other opportunities to get food will appear through out most of the boards from time to time. I, and any volunteers will play the prey. Your character cannot just say they have killed a deer, but can say something like, silently approaches the fawn, then lunges at it, trying to bite its neck... Then who ever is playing the fawn will reply to that, and you can go back and forth until you get the prey, it gets away, or something.

Lone wolves can take down larger prey, like an adult moose. But you must relize that your chances of bringing it down are very slim, and you have a much higher risk for injury or death. A lone wolf will have more success taking down small rodents.

Breeding
* There is no long breeding! (i personally hate it, and most parents wouldn't like there kids reading stuff like that)

* Once you've stated that you and your mate want to breed, and I've told you the results, you have two choices on what to do next.

- You can automatically be back at the den with the newborn pups, or

- The mother can carry the pups around for a while before giving birth. If you do that, I don't want discriptive labor (kinda like the long breeding thing)

This game isn't completely realistic, but try to act like a wolf as much as you can. Talking is allowed, and makes the game more interesting. And, you can talk to other creatures besides wolves; you can even talk to things such as deer, but they are less inclined to talk back. The only creatures that can't understand you are the humans.
