~Characters~

I of all people know how hard it is to make really cool, versatile characters. And I've seen- and roleplayed with- many bad, bad, Mary-Sue, boring, cliché, ect., characters. This section is to ensure that you become one of the people with the really cool characters that everyone wants to roleplay and/or steal. The only advantege to a boring, bad character is that no one in their right mind would want to steal it- and that's not much of an advantege.
You can make all kinds of characters for all different settings. Some have more intricate pasts and more sensitive personalities- mostly these are for no-action to low-action games. Others have tougher personalities and no past whatsoever, more for action-y games. Those are stupid steriotypes, though, so feel free- in fact, please do- to smush them to squishy little pieces and make up totally new ones.
Whether you're Game Master (A.K.A. Dungeon Master or whatever) or not, you can play characters- in the latter case, they're called NPCs (Non-Player Characters). I find this a little offensive to the Game Master, who certainly counts as a player. ^_~ I know I invade games with my characters when I'm Game Master! (*Grins evilly at friends*)
This section covers types of character description, levels of detail in roleplaying, character types/steriotypes, common personalities, examples of characters, and other cool stuff. ^_^ Nya!
