For centuries, the secrets of the biological mind have gone untapped. However, they flow freely in the land of Phyra. The secrets of abilities beyond that of an average being, be it elf, human, dwarf, or whatever, are but everyday sights in this strange world. This includes the secrets of magic, though the masters of magic are few and far between.

This world has been peaceful for centuries, but of late, there have been rumors of a dark and evil force arising and wanting nothing more than to destroy the world of Phyra. The people of the land only know as "The Black." Nobody has ever seen the face of The Black, only that the being is said to have been alive since Phyra was first created. The Black is said to have the ability to corrupt even the most purest of hearts.

The existance of The Black has been nothing more than a rumor...that is, up until recently. The most loyal and noble Paladins of the land have been turning down the paths of evil and carnage. Plagues and diseases have begun to spread rampant. The civilians of the land have begun to whisper of the dark comings that the legends that have been passed down from generation to generation have foretold. Their only hope rests in either their faith in the fact that their gods and goddesses of choice will protect them, or in the heroes that the legends say will arise to put an end to the evil that seems to be taking over the land.....
