S.T.A.R.S. member, Melina Andrews has always been known for her good judgment and tough handling. Just like many other S.T.A.R.S., Melina isn't afraid to kick anyone's ass. Applying after being released from the Army, Melina had been trained alongside Alex Shayne and a few others. The two of them had a heated romance for a brief time, but broke it off because of different views. Melina was more conservative than Alex. Less than 2 months later and transferred to Raccoon City's S.T.A.R.S. division, she married and had a daughter allegedly with her husband, who afterwards left her. Raising her daughter on her own Melina was doing just fine until Alex Shayne was transferred to Raccoon City after countless reprimands. Alex would become the leader of their team, and Melina slowly worked through some of the differences with him. Dispatched to the outskirts of the city, the S.T.A.R.S. agents along with the survivors of Alpha and Bravo Teams discovered the creatures arising from the forest. Although obliterated after they made their escape into the city, the S.T.A.R.S. reserve team found themselves in the middle of Birkin's G-Virus and the mob of Zombies. All but Alex and Melina were killed, as they barely escaped. They arrived at a blockade afterwards, but cut off from it by a swarm of zombies, they ran for safety. Now with the virus spreading, The two of them search for a way out, hoping they can survive, and aid survivors on the way. Along with this Melina must find her daughter with Alex's help and rescue her from the horror of Umbrella's doing.
