Chauncy is the new IGN bot. I actually can't remember where I got it, but this would be a good place to start.
It's not whatever bot the majority of our clanmates are used to, where you can type commands like !online and !dynas in the clan channel and the bot will respond. Although I haven't fully explored all its functions yet, I will include a short basic tutorial below.
The bot's name is Chauncy, and you can work with it through /tell messages. Make sure you don't spell it "Chauncey".
If you don't feel like reading what I have to say about him, you can simply type "/tell chauncy help" for him to give you a list of functions he can perform and how to use them.
The main function of Chauncy is to keep better track of votes and who is online than is otherwise possible. It would be a good idea every time you log on to just type "/tell chauncy vote" to see if there are any new votes going on. He will guide you through the rest of the process.
To see who is currently online in the clan, you can type "/tell chauncy online" for him to list who's online. I heard something about simply typing "online" in the clan channel, but I have not tested this yet.
To see a list of everyone in the clan, you can type "/tell chauncy members", but keep in mind that this list is not up-to-the-minute. The list only updates once a day at around midnight GMT.
Those are the main three functions we will be using the bot for currently. As I explore its features further, I will keep this section updated on what to keep an eye out for regarding Chauncy. Just remember that you can figure out anything with a simple "/tell chauncy help".
