The last of the third-year students fortunate enough to be taking Muggle Studies with Professor McGullough came in the door and took their seats, waiting expectantly. There was no sign of the teacher just yet, but it was a tradition for the enormous wizard to surprise his students somehow on the first day of class. The room they would be learning in for the next year was wallpapered with what were apparently Muggle advertisements for strange products like “Zip-lock bags” and “The Wonderful World of Walt Disney: Feel the Enchantment!”. Exactly how many layers of posters there were was anyone’s guess, and a source of several rumors among the advanced students.
The sound of water hitting the window sent the more adventurous pupils racing towards it, and laughter soon followed. McGullough was standing on the lawn below, holding a metal fixture on the end of a long hose. “This, students, is a sprinkler.”
