A New Beginning
What is it with this? As I was setting up this blog, I agreed to let there be an RSS feed of it. Immediately I thought that was a very silly thing to do. There will be so few people even looking at it, even less interested, and fewer still willing to make sure they get my headlines everyday in a news viewer.
Right now I'm looking through Monster Networking to see if there are other people in my area who I might be interested in contacting and seeking advice from. I am currently unemployed, but employable. Everyone who signs up fills out many forms where they describe their skills and aptitudes. It's interesting to see some peoples self-evaluation. Long lists of either "novice" or "expert".
They also list the jobs that the person has had. In so many of them there appears to be a downward spiral, army, to software, or management, then to siding instillation. What stories go along with a person's work history?
Mine points to a recent graduate who can not get a job in his field and is too proud or stupid to pick up some siding.
