Please note that these rules are subject to change without prior notice to the players. Although Forgotten Passion's administration makes a point to make sure it's players are up to date, players and others should be sure to check the rules regularly. Thank you for your continued support.

The Rules
-This chat quite possibly contains material appropriate only for people over the age of 18. You have been warned. If you are under the age of 18 and are caught role-playing here, you will instantly banned. No exceptions. If you feel the need to argue this point then contact an administrator. Again warned, you better have a good argument.

-Please role-play with maturity. While this role-play chat may contain adult situations, it is not purely so. Do not act like an immature 14 year-old. If you are wandering what exactly I'm looking for as far as maturity, visit the "Cybering?" link on the web page. There you can find out the difference between a cyber session and good role-play with romantic interludes to further the role-play.

-Similarly to the last rule, don't act stupid. There is, of course, a difference if your character is built to be stupid. I'm talking about YOU. Don't act like a dumbass; it only makes you look worse.

-Please keep all OOC comments to PM's, email, or instant messaging while there is In Character role-playing going on. When there is nothing going on, feel free to joke about and whatnot, but when role-playing starts up just take it elsewhere. We want good role-playing going on and OOC comments tend to take away from the scene.

-You are not GOD; so do not role-play like you are such. If indeed you are GOD, I need to talk to you for a moment; there are some questions I need to ask you. (Proof of identification required.) There are no people with charge up abilities, superhuman speed or strength, telepathic abilities, and all the rest of that stuff. These are regular humans we're talking about here and are subject to mortal effects. Which include, but are not limited to: Death, disease, hunger, weather effects, etc. Moding falls under this category. Moding is having your character do something he or she cannot do or knowing something s/he cannot know.

-Stick to the time period and setting. It's wild west setting so role-play it that way. This means no lightsabers and laserguns, sorry folks. Similarly, I wouldn't suggest walking around in chain mail. You can of course, but you will of course be viewed as a nutcase. Or a dork. Or both. Visit the website for an idea on what they wore or carried back then.

-Have common courtesy for your fellow role-players. Treat them with respect and you will receive respect. If you do not receive respect from someone, deal with it, but deal with it in such a fashion that does not lower yourself to an unrespectable position.
