Character Creation
Creating a character is one of most important parts to participating in this RPG. we want you to put your best into your character.
We also want you to strive to make your character your own unique being.
Something that's a knock off of other anime or RPG's or some movie you have seen is just not...well...your own. This guide
will hopefully allow you to better create a character that will become an extension of you. You're creating a new being for
this new world and he or she needs to fit in. Or not fit it. It all depends on what kind of person you want to "become." We
have divided this guide into several steps to break down your character to put in the little details you thought weren't
important. Use this guide when filling out the character registration form and you'll be set.
Step One - What are you like?
This step is one of the most important ones of all the other steps. You need to know what kind of person your character is
going to be. His or her personality in short. Is s/he a loner? A family man? Perhaps s/he's the joker. It's all up to you. It's best to
create a character with a personality that you think you could best portray. Now, this doesn't mean it has to be YOUR
personality. It could be the personality you wish you could portray a bit more. It's all up to you. The more information you
put down about your character's personality, the easier it is to role-play him or her. Trust me.
Step Two - What do you look like?
Definitely another important step. It is best to make sure you have a good picture in your head of what you want your
character to look like. Once you have an idea of what you want your character to look like, do your best to explain what he
or she looks like so that other people can see the same person your seeing. So are you a guy or a girl? Remember, just
because you're a guy doesn't mean you have to play a guy. And the same could be said for if you're a girl. Don't think it's
weird if you see someone doing this either. Okay. So now you've figured out whether your character is a guy or a girl. Start
thinking about the physical attributes you want them to look like. How tall are they? Please do not just say "Tall" or
"short." Give good quality measurements. How much do they weigh? Hair color? Eye color? Are you muscular? What's your weight
lifting capability? Remember, not all super strong people are going to win over in a fight. The skills that your character
could have might be able to counter act brute strength. Other attributes you need to keep in mind is hair style, skin color,
and clothing. Clothing is a big one. A lot of people like to do the mysterious "I have a big ol' cloak that shrouds my
physical attributes from everyone else" thing going on. Do your own thing! Your character can wear whatever you want him or
her too so engorge yourself! On another note
we do allow you to draw their own pictures if they want. However, if you have a picture, don't think that that means
you don't have to do a well thought out "What do you look like" bit. If you have a short description and a picture, I'm going
to go get a six-shooter and hunt you down.
Step Three - What personal items do you have?
So what does your character own as far as personal items? pocketwatch, wallet, bracelet, earrings, all that good stuff. The
reason this step is included is because we want to make sure your character has some good PIZAZ! It helps give your character
a bit more depth then just clothing and looks. In fact it adds to those good looks! Or butt ugly looks. Whatever floats your
boat.
Step Four- Does you have any personal weapons?
Yeah yeah. Everybody wants their character to carry a weapon so some dark figure in an alley doesn't get the best of you. So
we included this step in the character creation process. This is also a good time to live out that fantasy to own that hand
gun your mom...or local law enforcement won't let you have. Once again, the sky is the limit. Well, the sky is the limit as
far as your characters background allows. And the time period of course.
Step Five - What skills do you have?
Speaking of skills, here's the place to put them. What is your character good at doing? Mining? Cooking? Shooting?
All that good stuff. A lot of people think that if their
character is an awesome fighter, they are among the best role-players. This is not true at all. Once again, it's all your
choice. Remember, if you start pulling skills out of your ass your gonna get a visit from the magical Administration Fairy.
Step Six - Do you have any companions?
This is another good place to live out that dream of having the dog that mom...or maybe the local law enforcement (if this is
the case, do not explain it. We don't want to know.)...won't let you have. Pets are a good thing to have to further
role-playing. Then again, don't be a moron. Remember, you have to feed these things and take
care of them. This costs money. And no pulling money out of your ass either. You do and you'll be pulling a Winchester
out the same hole you got the BS money from.
Step Seven - So what's your history.
Definitely another of the most important steps. Everyone has a personal history. So do you. Do not skip this step or write
down a lacking one either. Poofing into existence is not common. At all. In fact, it doesn't happen. So make sure to answer
all those questions that make up a personal history. Where were you born? Who are your parents? Do you have any siblings?
Where is your family now? What have you done up to this point in your life? Do any of the items you have any family or
historical significance? Be sure to answer all these questions and the tons of other ones I left out. A small history for your
character usually means we return the application and ask you to add to it. Don't worry, we'll help you out a bit and give
you some advise on what to add.
So there you have it. The seven step character creation process. Like I've said throughout the whole process, please do not
be vague on any of these things. Put some time and effort into creating this person you will be playing. A well thought out
character is more likely to be success full then one that is not. Also remember that if you start pulling skills, weapons, or
other stuff out of your ass, prepared to be questioned. Which makes another good reason to make sure you have a well
thought out character profile.
