"InuYasha: A Love That Transcends Time".

This is my first InuYasha Movie Review. Seeing as I am a huge InuYasha fan This is gonna be one of the longer ones. The title that is shown on the DVDs released in america is "Affections Touching Across Time" I got the name "A Love That Transcends Time" from another source and I like it better so deal with it.

The movie starts out excellent with an appreance from InuYasha's older brother, Sesshomaru. I garentee that this scene will make a great first impression. I am also very glad that they put it in as Seshomaru has a small part in this movie.

The second scene introduces all the main characters during a battle with a giant scorpion. All the characters get to show off their moves while Kagome intrduces everyone.

The villian in this movie is a chinese moth demon who needs the power of InuYasha's sword, Tetsusaiga, to break a seal and gain the power to unleash ultimate destruction upon the world. I myself was impessed by the great sidekicks he commands. They are two female demons who end up becoming rivals with Miroku and Sango. This was excellent as it gave them something to do while InuYasha took care of the ultimate evil villian.

Kikyo shows up briefly as well, but doesn't do much. This is a good thing for me as I hate Kikyo. Shippo is pretty useful for once and actually has a few funny lines. And thank god Koga doesn't show up as I hate him too. Another note is that Naraku doesn't show up once in the whole movie. Note: I don't hate Naraku.

The movie has great action scenes with everyone but shippo having a good battle. InuYasha gets to use all the powers Tetsusaiga has to offer and with the help of Myoga's wisdom the heroes win the day.

InuYasha: A Love That Transcends Time, is the first of 3 movies released at this time. It has superb action and is a lot of fun. I give it a 9 out of 10
