Nereus isn't what you would consider a social butterfly, so this isn't likely to be long. The fact that it exists may be startling to some. Like with the NPCs in the family section, these people are also free for play.

Before becoming the embittered prettyboy elf that he is today, Nereus had made at least one notable friend. This friend was Lareyna Morcant, a fellow orphan whom he met at the orphanage. Nereus wasn't very popular among the orphans, since he looked and acted just slightly different, and as a result was treated differently. Lareyna was really the only child his age who bothered to actually talk to him. Since he was younger and less guarded then, he wasn't obligated to reject her comfort. I guess this was the closest thing to actual romance Nereus ever had, but it wasn't anything more than a slowly-developing crush. Of course, this all sorta' changed once Nereus lost control of his Demon Fever and was promptly kicked out of the orphanage. He still idly wonders what has happened to Lareyna over the years, but since he now realizes the potency of his curse, he figures it's better if they never met again.

Truth be told, that's probably not even his last name. I just made it up because he never really had one.

Nereus and Maurus got paired up for the fog mission. They're "married", although Nereus has shown no special regard towards Maurus. As a matter of fact, Nereus has beat him to a pulp several times when he decided to get all lovey-dovey. The marriage was made just to get through Union Pass. Nereus was given the job of tutoring Maurus in the ways of the Magister, but one would say he hasn't had much success. They have parted ways recently, after Nereus recommended a less dangerous quest for Maurus to uptake. Like cleaning the dishes. Lord knows how long this peace and quiet may last...

Maurus's player has been kicked out of Szurane, so I'm not sure if whether or not anyone can play him. Chances are you'll have to ask Minerva if you're interested.

Nereus's "fangirl", who has just been recently promoted to Bronze Agent. Her father is Pelusar Godwin. She was only twelve when she first met Nereus, but she's a big girl now... or so she thinks.

To Nereus, she is nothing more than a gnat. I guess she's just a female version of Maurus.
