This site is under constant repair... so bear with me if it's funky at times.

I've decided, since I've been watching so much anime.. that I'd make this a sort of anime review guide. Well basically, I'm gonna list all the anime I've watched, and maybe have some sort of comment or summary of the anime. I guess the main purpose of this is so that I don't forget all the anime I've watched, since I'm notorious for my memory. As time goes by, if I learn more html (not just copying and editing) I'll try to make tables etc.. pretty it up... but for now it's all text ^_^ Oh yea, I also removed the background to make it easier to read.. and if you know of any anime I've watched that I havnt' listed.. tell me... I KNOW there are at least twice this many...

Things with "**" next to them are on the GOSU list.. or at least those that I would recommend you watch.

Things with "*" are on the good list, recommended if you like anime/ need something decent to watch

Things with nothing next to them are mediocre animes that you can watch if you REALLY want to

Things with "-" next to those that I would not recommend under any circumstances (anime that I did not enjoy)

1)**Chobits - Now, if you don't know what this anime is yet, you probably stumbled onto this site by some freak accident, and not actually because you know me. This is a story about a guy and his "Persocon" (Computer in Japanese? Not sure) who is this machine that looks and feels like a girl. It has a lot of ecchi and stuff I guess, but it gets serious in episode 20ish... It's good for some nice laughs, and some heavy thinking toward the end. Plus, it's rather aesthetically pleasing.

2) **Junni Kokki (12 Kingdoms) - Lets see, this is a pretty good anime about growing up I guess. There is some nice sword fighting, and stuff too. The character development in this anime is pretty dang good. I went from hating one person to feeling pity of sort for them, and hating this other person to eventually liking them. It's a bit longer than most of the anime here.. it's 45 episodes, but I think it's well worth the time.

3) **Trigun

4) Getbackers

5) Gundam Seed

6) Vandread

7) *RahXephon

8) *Shingetsutan Tsukihime (Vampire story) - Ok, after reading some reviews about this anime.. I was rather shocked to find out that this was based off a hentai game or something. That's what most of the reviews said at least. It wasn't hentai-ish at all, and was a decent vampire movie. Though, I guess it does have potential to be hentai-ish since it's your standard all girls falling for the main character theme. Though, not quite that overplayed. It didn't really ruin the anime by having that in there. It's a good short 12 episode 1 season anime.

11)**Full Metal Alchemist

12)*Saikano

13)-Stellivia of the Universe (discontinued)

14)*Chrno Crusade (got liscenced)

15)**Full Metal Panic

16)*Full Metal Panic:Fummofu

17)**Furi Kuri

18)*Haibane Renmei

19)**Saber Marionette J

20)**Iria

21)**Escaflowne

22)**Witch Hunter Robin

23)*Samurai Deeper Kyo - Well if you're interested in watching an anime with lots of fighting, and minimal distractions with things such as love, romance etc. Then this anime is for you! Sure, I guess it's plot isn't the best out there, but it's a decent plot. It's not a bad story, and there's lots of cool fighting, however, it just didn't seem to keep to entranced liked some of the other anime did. Like Witch Hunter Robin was VERY addictive after episode 14ish, and 12 Kingdoms was VERY addictive through most of its episodes. It was not as addictive at certain points, but hey comon it's a 45 episode anime. Give it a break. Anyway yea if fighting without romance is your kind of anime. This is for you. PS. the first episode makes it out to be very umm fanservice-ish but trust me, it's not.

24)*Cowboy Bebop

25)**Last Exile

26)*Scrapped Princess

27)*Wolf's Rain

28)Maburaho - This is probably the most fan service filled anime I've ever watched. The story is about a loser guy, who has very low mana I guess is the easy way to describe it (Everyone has a limited number of times they can use magic in their lifetime). However, this kid supposedly has the genes of very strong magicians in his body, and it is said that his offspring would have godly powers. So, naturally, all the girls want to get in his pants and obtain those genes so that their children are super strong. Yea.. exactly.. fan service. However, if you're really that interested sexual humor, or love triangle stuff, it's probably for you. Otherwise, steer clear, and save your time for another anime. The story itself I guess wasn't that bad.. but just too much fanservice ruined the whole anime for me

29)Geneshaft - Well I really wouldn't recommend watching this. If you're bored, and have nothing else to do, I guess you can. However, the story is very poorly told, I think it tries too hard to be deep, and the design for the ship and the robot make almost no sense. They're just odd looking and many of the features just seem to be there to look weird. They serve no purpose. The head of the robot is like 2 tubes sticking straight out.. I see no point in it, and serves only to make the robot look weird. So yea... not worth your time really

30)Slayers - Hmmm This is better then Geneshaft, and it was sorta funny, but somehow I wanted this series to end so I would have "finished watching it" rather than wanting it to go on forever. So, I'm not giving it any stars :P. It wasn't bad, just didn't really catch my attention. It's might even deserve one star actually, since most of the series with 0 stars are pretty shitty, but it wasn't that great, and the story was lacking.

31)*Niea Under 7 - Well this is a pretty slow paced anime. It's just something calming, and ocassionally funny to watch. It's rather different from most of the anime here, well except for Haibane Renmei, it's sorta like that, but less attempts at trying to be "deep" and a bit funnier. I liked it more than Haibane Renmei, but not sure if it deserves two stars :P

32)**Macross Zero - This is a rather short series.. I guess it'd count more as OVAs. Anyway, it's about this guy who's a fighter pilot and crashes onto this backwater Mayan island. Thus, begins an adventure in which the world's fate lies on the balance... sorta cliche I guess but man oh man. The fight scenes in this anime are by far the best I've seen yet. I guess it's to be expected since it took them half a year to make each episode -_-. Anyway, it's one of the most visually stunning anime I've seen in a while, not to mention the music is very nice. They have very soft and soothing music, but the battle music also fits well. The music is basically very well thought out IMO. Of course, I like sorta slow songs and vocals(like non-lyrical songs). So yea..

33)**Samurai Champloo - Good series, maybe I'll write more later.

34)*Grenadier - Fan service, and some cool looking fight scenes. Story is lacking

35)**Beck - My new all time favorite anime.

36)**Ah! My Goddess -

37)**Paranoia Agent - it's really unique

38)**Shakugan No Shana - Hmmm this was a very nice story about this girl who hunts monsters and falls in love with a boy. What I really liked about it is that it was predominately action. My main qualm with romance-centered anime is that it's way too slow (so I end up reading romantic-comedies, that way I speed through :D) So, this was nice because the romance was sprinkled throughout and I never felt like the anime was too slow or boring. It was pretty exciting the whole way through. The animation is of very high quality. Maybe not as high as Haruhi Suzumiya, but still pretty high. I'm not so sure, but this might have made my top 5. I can't quite decide if it beats some old anime like Chobits or 12 kingdoms just b/c I don't quite remember what I felt when I watched those :-/. I did have a bit of a problem with the ending, so yea that's probably going to ensure that it doesn't get number 1. Basically, they made it so that Shana should die, but then she miraculously lives through it. I thought she should have either died, or somehow been saved from doing it. Still, I did want a happy ending... so maybe I should just be happy that she didn't die?

39) *Innocent Venus - It was ok, I suppose. I dunno what to say of it. It's another series I watched for the Mecha. The little girl is very cute, and there was a certain plot twist I didn't see coming. I thought the series director or whatever did a good job with that twist. Still, overall it's not the best of anime, but it's hardly the worst. It's worth your time if you're into anime or if you're just crazy about mecha that you have to see all of the Mecha series out there :P.

40) **Welcome to the NHK - Very good Paranoia/Romantic Comedy

50) **The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Well this is sorta the popular anime of recent times, excluding things like Naruto which just sorta turn DBZ-esque. So yea, very enjoyable series, definately some fan service, but it wasn't over the top or anything like that. Maybe I just dislike fan-service that's like panty shots? Because Mikiru was definately well endowed and wore maid/bunny costumes :-/. Oh well very worth your time :D.

51) **Ah! My Goddess - Sorezore No Tsubasa - It's the second season of Ah! My Goddess... need I say more? It's more Belldandy goodness and overall enjoyability! What more can you expect from possibly my favorite Romantic-Comedy of all time?

52) *Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora - This was just some sort of slow love story thingy. If you want that, give it a shot. It wasn't too bad, and it's only 6 episodes so if you dislike it, it's not a huge drain on time :P

53) *Fate/Stay Night - Decent series, I wouldn't recommend it above any two stared anime on here and well, I guess I just watched it because Saber is in it. :D I've got a weak spot with cute girls in armor. It's not that bad though, and is worth watching if you watch a decent amount of anime. Especially since it's so well known.

54) *Eureka 7 - Decent Mecha series. It was cool at first to see the mecha scenes and I really liked some portions of the anime. However, some of it was sorta boring and perhaps it was because of the slow release speed, but I lost interest in it for a while and it took me a long time to finish.

55) *Rozen Maiden - Surprisingly good. I dunno, originally, the idea of moving dolls had seemed creepy, I guess. I decided to watch it because it was so popular and many people seemed to like it. I can see why 4chan people are obsessed with Suiseiseki, she's really quite a character. The evil manipulative thing and constant demeaning of the protagonist is rather amusing. She really DOES say Desu a lot :-/. Anyway, worth watching if you like/want a cute light-hearted anime. It also has some pseudo doll love? I'm not too sure if they really like each other that way, but it somewhat seems like it. Which is sorta wrong -_-. The dolls in Rozen Maiden really DO look like dolls, and well sexual attraction toward a doll?

56) *Zero no Tsukaima - This was a fairly enjoyable anime. The lead female character (Louise) is voiced by Rie Kugimiya, the same person who did Shana (Shakugan No Shana), Nagi (Hayate No Gotoku) and Alphonse (Full Metal Alchemist). I rather like her voice acting, maybe because she often plays the cute-ish lead female. The cute, yet mean/abrasive girl who can't seem to confess her love for the guy sorta thing. It's rather endearing and fun to watch for those times when you just need something cheery and light-hearted to watch.

57) **Gunbuster 2 - Studio Gainax is an awesome company IMO, this is yet another very well drawn series with over the top wacky situations and Super Mecha scenes. The story is a bit weird, but that's to be expected. The animation is very well done and at six episodes, it's barely a dent in your time. Might as well watch it? :P

58) Bakuretsu Tenshi - I dunno what I was expecting from this series, but it wasn't this crap. I suppose it helped pass time, but after seeing it, I don't believe I can, in good conscience, recommend it to anyone that hasn't seem almost any of the other series on this list.

59) *Inukami - This show is sorta weird, pretty funny and the main girl is fairly tsundere :D. So y that's cute. Overall it was ok, I wouldn't really recommend it unless you really like gay jokes or tsundere girls or just slapstick comedy in general I guess.

60) *Innocent Venus - This show had a bit of a surprise for me around halfway through? Didn't see that one coming at all. Maybe that's just me though. Hmmm.. the music in the series is ok, the mecha fights are just mediocre I guess. The little girl is very cute though, but I think she was less cute toward the end. However, given what she sees throughout the course of the story I guess that makes sense.

71) **Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion - Now this show was awesome. I really liked it a lot. The protagonist is such an asshole, but he does it pretty much to save his little sister. Also, while he's fictional it just amazes me at how he is able to make decisions so cold-heartedly. Like they're generally what the right decisions given the situation, but damn. It's not easy sacrificing some people for the benefit of the majority.

72) *Sola TV - This was an ok series. Not that great. I really like the character development between the protagonists at the start of the story. It was a nice little romance thing, but about 6 episodes in, that stops and there this whole fighting and complicated story thingy. It's not bad... but I really liked the first few episodes more.

73) **Tengen Toppa - Gurren Lagann - Very good series. The character designs are a bit quirky, well rather the mecha designs, but overall I liked it quite a lot. The odd mecha designs didn't really bother me and the characters develop nicely. It's a nice story about not giving up hope and such.

74) *Zero No Tsukaima II - Ehh... not very good especially when compared to the first season. Basically, the protagonist Saito gets more perverted, there are more ecchi shots of the female characters and the story went to shit. It isn't without redeeming features though. The animation is still very well done, and well it's still pretty cute. Especially if you like tsundere stuff as Louise is very tsundere. I don't think I'd really recommend it to anyone who isn't a fan of tsundere though... since that's pretty much the only reason I even finished the series. Oh, I guess if you like perverted protagonists and panty shots etc of loli characters you might like it.

75) *Somedays Dreamers - I had totally forgotten that I had watched this series. This is a nice short series a bit of a gem IMO. It's not terribly interesting or anything, but it's a very nice slow anime to watch. Of course, that's also why I didn't think it was that great of an anime series. It just didn't do enough to really keep me interested. However, it's short and sometimes one just needs to slow down a bit. Also, it has an awesome relaxing instrumental soundtrack.

76) **Kino no Tabi - Another series I forgot about. This one is fairly nice, but a bit slow. It's a story about this boy/girl named Kino (his/her gender is never explicitly stated and he switches between the male and female pronouns) and his/her travels to various countries. He/she never stays in a single place for more than 3 days because that's all it take to learn the basics of any society. It's basically a view into many different forms of government/society and social commentary about the flaws of each. Fairly interesting and somewhat though provoking, but it did get a bit boring at times. Where I wasn't exactly compelled to watch the next episode. I think single episode series are sorta like that for me.

77) Kenkou Zenraki Suiebu Umisho - This was sorta fanservicey.. It was alright, somewhat funny at times, but nothing too notable as a series.

78) **Doujin Work - This was a fairly decent series. The characters were interesting and the story was fairly funny. The show is also like 15 minutes each with around 12 or 13 episodes so it's sorta hard to go wrong with it. Even if you don't like it, it doesn't take toom uch time to watch.

79) **Rozen Maiden - Traumend - Second Series in the Rozen Maiden story.. pretty much like the first series

80) **Rozen Maiden - Ouverture - Short OVA that takes place sometime during the second season. About the same kind of thing too. Well actually the OVAs focus on Suigintou more

81) **Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid - Fairly decent, worth watching especially as a FMP fan... Yea not much else to say.

82) **Ergo Proxy - Fairly decent cyberpunk type of anime. There were a few duller moments in the anime, but I thought it was handled fairly well overall. The opening and ending sequences have very nice songs and are visually and aurally fitting. It handled the theme of what defines life fairly well, and Pino, an infected autorave was possibly my favorite character at the end of the series. The story was engaging and made me want to watch the next episode, especially the last few. I thought the ending got a bit weird, and things weren't necessairly easy to figure out, but I still liked it. Good show.

83) **Darker than Black - This was a fairly interesting series. The story was interesting and compelling enough, but I had expected more action. I was initially drawn to the series because I had heard that the story was well done, but from pictures and all I had anticipated a lot of fighting. In the end, they showed very little of the fights and the fights usually ended in roughly the same way. Still, the story was good and I didn't really have any problems with this series

84) **Genshiken - I hadn't noticed that I didn't even list this series on here. I saw this a while ago and was very impressed with it. I think recently I've liked the slice-of-life genre more and well this is a pretty good slice of life anime. It talks about Otakus and their life. Though, I personally feel the first season is more about how one of the girls comes to terms with the fact that her boyfriend is an otaku and even befriends the rest of the otakus in their little club.

85) **Minami-ke - This was a very good story about three of the Minami sisters. It's pretty much just their everyday lives with lots of squabbling and fighting for attention between the siblings. It very enjoyable and I might even consider including it in my list of top anime.

86) **Baccano! - Wow, I don't know what to say. Such a slew of good anime recently. I'm not sure where this ranks on my list.. I'll have to evaluate my list again. However, this is one of the better told series in all of the anime I've seen. In terms of story development, it might even be the best, surpassing 12 kingdoms. The music was enjoyable, nothing that I was going crazy over though and the characters were very entertaining and likeable. Still, I don't know if it ever gave me that feeling that it should be on my top 5 or top 10. It's definately a solid anime work though, and well worth the time it takes to watch. It's only 13 episodes long, so nothing too bad. Also, it contains possibly one of my favorite comedic characters of all time. The Issac - Miria combo. God those two were probably my favorite of the show. Actually, it might be worth a slot in my top 10.. don't know where yet though... Ah. I just realized why it probably doesn't seem like a perfect match for my top anime. It's because the anime got a bit graphic at times and there were things that made me cringe a bit. Some of the stuff was sorta gory and such. Thus, turning me off a bit from the awesomeness which is this anime.

87)**Genshiken 2 - Well this series started off a bit slow for me, it didn't catch me as much as the previous season did. However, after watching a few episodes it became rather addictive. Anyway, this season deals with more Otaku themes IMO, since it's less about Saki's acceptance of her boyfriend's otaku-ness and more about Ogi's acceptance of her otaku-ness. Coupled with like four visits to Comiket. So yea, lots of Comiket refrences, which was nice. I also liked the ending where they showed Sasahara and his hardships in finding a job.

88)**REC - Well this small little gem I just sorta stumbled upon. It's a nice 9 episode 15 minute each romance story about a seiyuu and this guy she meets. Really, it's way too short and I wish they had made it longer. It is possibly my favorite Romantic Comedy at the moment. Possibly even pushing out Ah! My Goddess.

89)Rosario+Vampire - Pretty much only watch this if you want some fan-servicy Romantic Comedy. The girls are fairly cute, but meh. Lacking in story and such. The music is sub-par.

90)**Moyashimon - Pretty decent Bio-related Anime.

91)**Shakugan No Shana 2 - Contains less Urusai and stuff, but then again, it was supposed to be about Shana maturing and stuff. Overall, it was decent, but I think I liked the first season more. Maybe more like * and a half.

92)**Wolf and Spice - Fairly slow paced anime, but sorta nice. The characters are very calculating, which is interesting and the two main characters obviously love each other but try not to show it. It's sorta cute and endearing. GOGO Horo!

93)Kanon - Just realized I never put this on here... Not the 2006 one btw, and yea.. I dunno, it was ok, I guess but nothing too great.

94)Code Geass - R2 - Went downhill like crazy during the 2nd half :-( WHY did they ruin the show this way? The last episode was ok though.

95)Zero no Tsukaima : Princess no Rondo - Not much to say except that it's the next season in the series.

Currently watching: (In reality, these series are on infinite Hiatus or I just havn't bothered to move them into the dropped series yet. Of course, some of them I actually am currently watching.

Anime that I checked out an episode or two of and decided not to watch (Basically, it's not good enough to make me want to watch it.. but I can't say it's bad because I didn't watch it):

1) Gankutsuou (Count of Monte Cristo)- OMG.. I'm usually not picky about animation.. but I could nto STAND the animation for this series. Basically.. the shirts and backgrounds etc were all colored in with kidpix or something. Basically imagine this.. you see a chameleon blended into the background.. so no matter which way it turns the patterns on its skin would look exactly the same... that's what all their clothing was like.. It gave me a headache just watching it...

2) Beet the Vandal Slayer - Just didn't seem interesting *shrug*

3) Kannaduki no Miko - To be fair the animation for this series is rather nice, and the characters are visually pleasing... but it seemed like they tried to mix the whole "shojo-ai" or lesbian thingy with mechas.. and it just didn't go down with me... sorta like Elfen Lied except I never watched elfen lied because I figured I didn't want gore, porn, and a cute innocent girl-ish thing all wrapped up into one

4) Kakyuusei 2 - Well hmm.. basically this was too hardcore drama for me. I mean I think romantic comedies are pretty cool, but the first half of the first episode was like staring at nice scenery, girls, and about 10 words were spoken. It was just WAY too slow for me.. *shrug* The drawing is ok.

5) Gungrave - Hmmm.. I guess the real reason I dropped this was that 1) at the time I wasn't really in an anime craze.. and 2) it seemed like it tried way too hard to look cool. I mean.. the model for the hero seemed like a rip-off of alucard to me.. and I dunno the story just wasn't engrossing in the first episode.

6) Ichigio 100% - When you have to spend about 1/4 of the anime staring at upshots of girl's panties.. then that just kills the anime for me. I mean.. how can I respect anime that's like this? If I really wanted to see this kind of crap, I'm sure there's some sort of cheesy hentai anime that caters to this kind of thing. They were in the direct center of the screen too.. I would have had to look into the corners to avoid staring at some fictional character's panties... ugh.. it was just bad.. very bad...

7) Tales of Eternia - I thought this would be ok.. I mean it's a standard RPG storyline, but I dunno.. it just wasn't interesting...

8) .Hack//Sign - Wow.. I've heard so many things about this anime that I thought I should check it out... but it's just way too boring. I don't care about those people who say it's supposed to have a deeper meaning or something, if I wanted that, I'd read a book. I want to be entertained by an anime series... not bored to death. The protagonist is just so... quiet.. and slow and boring.

9) Gunslinger Girls - WTF seriously. It's little girls with guns in a medoicre plot. If that floats your boat, then by all means, watch this. Otherwise, I personally thought it sucked cock.
