Gravity

Each planet also has a gravity strength that may lower your speed during some battles. Whatever the planet's gravity is multiply by 2 and that is the percentage that your speed will go down. To adjust to this gravity you must train at the gravity strength in a Gravity Chamber or you must stay there for atleast 30 days to have your speed uneffected.

For example: Planet Vegeta's Gravity is x10.  Gohan's SPD is 1000 so it goes down %20. So it is now 800. Every ten days his speed will go up 67 until the 30 days is up.

         This can be an advantage, since your speed on other planets will go up on planets with weaker gravitys.

For Example: Earth's gravity is x1. Since Gohan was on Planet Vegeta for 30 days, his speed will go up however much it went down on Planet Vegeta. So his speed will go up 20% on Earth.
