Flush with anticipation, Mordred rode to Camelot for the first time and met his uncle in court. He encountered a broken man, ill with the rot the land and its king shared in their failing, for the land and the True King are one. Disgusted, he demanded that the king abdicate the Land Rule to him, its rightful heir. Arthur balked, infuriated at Mordred's resolve and audacity, and Mordred promised war.
Now, Mordred is assembling an army of any who will see a craven king fall and the land returned to its former glory. Behind him are a legion of the Fey, his mother, and righteous indignation. Before him lies Camelot.
The war is only just beginning.
